I just got done with my northern lights auto a couple weeks ago. I LST'd mine and got 24g dried off of a 1 foot plant using just cfl's. And from start to finish was less than 11 weeks.

I use a little thicker plastic pots, but i just put screws in the side of the pot and get some pipe cleaners to tie them down. They are cheap at walmart and are soft, so you don't have to worry about them cutting into the plant. Also they are pretty long so they will reach tall nodes.
