when i transplanted my 6 seedlings i only had 5 pots to put them in, i was going to throw one out but i planted two in one pot instead. Anyway, now the plants are bigger and one is definitely male. rather than trying to separate the roots and throw one out, can i just snip the bottom of the stem...

ok that last photo answered my question. i have just thrown out 3 males, noooooooooo 1 definite female and 2 not shown yet. fingers crossed.

how many days into flowering should i wait maximum to determine sex of plants. im a week in, i think i have one female 3 males and two not showing yet. i want to be sure about the males before chucking them out.

well one of my plants is female, 3 look male and 2 havnt shown yet. unfortunatly the female is the smallest, scrawniest looking plant i have!

what are these swollen bits?, i have them on the lower nodes of my plants and i thought these were female features but the plants are displaying what looks like male balls. im just over a week into flowering.

thanks mate, good luck to you too. i wish i had started growing in the loft instead of the windowsil because i think the plants are suffering because of it now. There is always next time.

what about taking the plants outside and leaving them somewhere no-one will go, in the middle of nowhere. then pick them up when you get back. the last thing you wanna do is worry about them when your on holiday. Nature will provide light, sun and fresh air.

i have added a red spectrum light to the reflector hood aswell as the blue one.

also, on the average day, the loft doesnt get very warm because of the vents in the roof.

yes im thinking of getting an additional red spectrum light to use with the blue during flowering.
