how big of a grow space? you can buy a nutrient kit like technaflora or general hydroponics ($35-$50). DWC is simple

do the lights seem more red or blue?

should be, i have a hydro box that has a 200w cfl in it. keep those lights close though. do you know the spectrum of the lights?
