Smaller RubberMaids? They come in all sizes you know. Also, you could go all sneaky and use a garbage can, like I did with a friend. And then we just bolted the light assembly to the the lid.

May 28, 2007 - Day 10 of Flowering I had to make some adjustments to the exhaust fan. I was having one cola run into the damn thing and shred leaves, so I slapped on this cardboard-box end for now. It should hold them back. Also, is it normal to see this many pistils at Day 10 of flowering...

I was told to add Advanced Nutrient's "Bud Blood" during the first two weeks of flowering to reduce the amount of stretch they go through.

The LST induced a sort of like SCROG result. I have lots of colas starting now and it's really filling out the box. :mrgreen: Day 9 of flowering today.

I put various buckets underneath the plants to boost them higher. :blsmoke: If you can't lower the lights, raise the plants. :mrgreen: Nope. No muscle car for me. My toy barely has the torque to turn the wheels.

I think the plants are finally showing sex (then again, I could be wrong. They are bright white in normal light). Pre-LST. About 20" tall. Post LST. Also, I think it's showing it sex. Am I wrong? Day 8 of flowering.

You top during vegetation, that is, if you're going to do it.

Is odour going to be a problem? If so, then you should plan ahead for that (carbon filter/scrubber, etc). Are you going to have a way to adjust plant/light height? Do you have enough exhaust to keep that 400watt bulb cool? Do you have enough fresh air to supply the plants with not only C02, but...

You have to look at the problem from both sides. If the lights cannot be adjusted lower, then the plants must be adjusted higher. I simply added a makeshift booster seat for the plant. It worked fairly well. I need to get some better pre-made things to sit the plants on (like 20", 14". 8", 5"...
