    So the purpose of "burping" the jars is to get the humidity on target correct? I ask cause I have 12 jars and they are all floating between 55% - 60% so there is no reason to open them at this time. Just want to make sure I am doing it right.

    So I have about 12 mason jars.. I am using 62% packets in with them. They have been in there about 16 hours and they are all hovering around 50 - 54% humidity. According to a thread I read on here, less than 55% is bad. I am hopeful if I leave them in there, they could go up slowly. HOWEVER...
