update.... most buds are around just 4cm thick and 6cm high... with small spiky leaves and with 40% brown colored hairs (most white)... and some buds on other branches are small, 4cm wide but 4cm tall..... look at the pics, are they ready for harvest. i have been in flowering for 5weeks...

so many pistils when will it have buds? 3 weeks into flowering...

there are hairs between nodes, not white but green.. not sure if these are pistils or not... same as this http://www.amsterdamcannabisseeds.com/images/female-cannabis-pistils.jpg but no white hairs.. just green..

so your saying to get better yield, wait for pistils etc?

do i need to flower these? they say look out for alternating nodes, not sure if i can spot these... 4 plants are 12inches high... but one of the plants next to it, is under growing (7 inches)...

at the start of this thread, i was wrong about my ph reading.. i got the colors mixed around.. it was always between 5.2 to 6.5.. i my temps are now 85... i will raise lights up too.

i as thinking about buying epsom salt from ebay... it says for soil, im sure it should be fine if i added half of the recommended amount... are there any available for water based. hydro.

i got the ph colours wrong... the ph is 6 not 5.. and when i used my ph meter , it reads 6.5 .. as for the nutes, i do use the lucas formula... exact how i was told.. my ppm is properly updated.. my res is refilled using the lucas formula... and also, its only happening to several leaves...

now my small new leaves are getting this problem... what is it? how do i cure it? shall i back down on refilin nutes and just put water only to fill my res. my ph is 5

i am maintaining it correctly. since i put nutes inside, it still had a reading of 6.9 . and its 6.9 now. so it was always like that.

what will if i leave as it is? its only happening to some plants and just around 1-2 leaves out of 15 leaves... normally to the bottom leaves.

how do i increase it? more nutes? if i do this, it will be well over fed.

every time my res goes down, my ppm gets higher.. which means the plants are taking more water than nutrients ... so i am just putting more water in with no nutes...

around 88 degF ..its high as its hot outside .. humidity is 40%

whats happening to the leaves? i have been reading up and found it may be lack of potassium ... or is because my cfl300w is 1.5 inch away from the top of the plants? the tip of some leaves are drying out with a brownish colour: pics:

I've got a DWC Hydro. I put my nutes in and took a ppm reading to use as my target. Over two days, the res goes down so i have to top it up with water. the water alone, is 200ppm. when i add just water to the res, the ppm goes up but thats not nutes. The ppm keeps fluctuating and I dont know...

hey i have a DWC hydro, i lifted up one of the net pots and found a white substance at bottom of the cup which is usually submerged in water.. all the cups have this. is it the nutrients solution reacting with something? i have an air pump pumping air to an airstone inside the DWC... maybe...
