I have cloned many times without a rooting hormone. I put them into jiffy pellets under a dome. Heat mat under the dome and your good to go. I have had 80%+ success rate just using water. Keep the humidity up in dome

You dont have a choice whether it flowers or not if its auto. They will flower under 24/0 light

CFL work fine for flowering, not as fast as HID's but they work and some people have great results. What watt are the cfls you are using? and for flowering use 2700k bulbs.

What are you growing in? Soil? does it already have nutrients in the soil?

starting out with white spots, than yellowing leaves, than dieing? Sounds like you got some spidermites. Check the bottom side of your leaves for tiny black specs.

have you noticed any new growth? Did they have enough root mass to support the little guys when you transplanted? If they didnt have a good root mass you might still need to up that humidity.

Throw a heat mat under your girls. That will keep the roots warm as well :) And yes, purple stems can be caused by low temps!

Humidity is high.. 70% during veg is awesome, during flowering its not good.

Flush with 4x water the container will hold.. 1 gal pot, flush with 4 gallons of water.

Yellowing is probably caused by Nitrogen def. Purple on stems can be caused by too low of temps.

Buy a heat mat and place it under your plants. Atleast if you can keep the roots warm enough they will survive till temps raise up a bit :)

How is your drainage? Are the roots getting oxygen? Have you tried flushing with plain water?

You can take clones even in flowering.. But if you take a flowering clone you have to put it under 24 or 18/6 to revert it back to veg. It will take a little longer to root but it will still work.

be careful when misting your buds this late in flower, you could get bud rot.
