    Serious questions for canadians

(PLEASE, if you don't know for sure, don't speculate! I've read enough 'typical' answers with no bearing or legitimacy to them. If you live in another country, DON'T answer as it may be very different than where you're from.) - What are the risks in running a high-wattage setup (5000-8000...

    Ebb N Gro 4 x 1000 watt

Nice setup bro... I always like when someone DIYs it though! Much more satisfying and A LOT cheaper. Keep it up!

    New grow starting up

You have 4 sprouts under your stairs with the most basic of setup... I'm not chirping but unless you have questions, what do you expect people to say? I guess your seedlings look good? Is the mylar up yet? If not you should get on that... What about exhaust?

    Power Consumption / Light Cost

So what raises the 'red flag'? Someone mentioned above that only a commercial grow or stealing electricity will do it... but what constitutes a commercial grow? Does anyone have hard facts/information? (Links to warrants, cases, articles, etc.)

    Mom caught me.

My mom cried when she first found out about me as well... To be honest, I wish I would have listened to her back then when she told me I didn't need it. It started off very recreational for me (only on weekends, parties, etc.) but once I moved out, it slowly increased until I was smoking...

    NEED FEEDBACK!!!! Ebb and Flow

I feel like 'double-harvesting' isn't very efficient... The plan will be putting most of it's resources into recovering and only some into budding. I watched the video but to be honest, that guy tried sounding more professional than his grow actually was. I'd like some more opinions. Cheers!

Need Assistance Designing my GrowRoom…Please Help!!!!!

Ya, use one fan for exhaust/carbon filter and the other with your cool tube, you don't need an intake fan.

I Found a Secret Room In My House!

That was awesome man... glad you took us along for the adventure. The mask totally makes you sound like Darth Vader which is badass but I was hoping for bones or something really crazy! Anyways, looks like a perfect setup bro, you could definitely get a nice grow going in there and maybe even...

Variety Grow - Perpetual, "Mini" ScrOG's, DWC in a Cabinet (First Timer)

    1. Thanks for the link from the other thread to this one, I really like your ballast! I just keep mine "open" instead of making a nice sheet metal case like you did. But even so, maybe I'll add a computer fan like you did to keep everything ultra-flowy. 2. Good call on the clear water tubes...

New Cabinet Grow - 9'x4'x18" - Complete Build Journal - Lot's of Pics

They have slightly better prices for ballast kits at HTGsupply.com -- The reason I bring it up is because I want someone to link me with an even cheaper site... but I haven't found any. (They even have assembled ballast kits with reflector/bulb for $120 [400w]) -- haven't been able to find...

Kitty's Commercial Grow Op-Bigger & Better Every Day!

They're pretty pricey at all my local home improvement shops, considering they're just plastic buckets... I've gotten about 20 from restaurants for free who go through them quite quickly but I still need 75 more.

Solar Power Grow Room. Can it be Done?

Ya, I forgot to mention that the 2-4 kilowatts are only generated over a few hours during the day (approx. 9am-2pm), so I average about 4-12 kilowatts in a day. It only cost me about 15k in total though!

I can't handle sandbox games... I did like Red Dead (the storyline was unreal) but eventually the travelling got to me like with every other open-world game. I'm really surprised to hear so much negativity towards Battlefield BC2... Along with Fifa '10 and Mass Effect 2, Battlefield is one of...

Solar Power Grow Room. Can it be Done?

I have photovoltaic shingles installed on the southside of my roof but it only produces about 2 kilowatts per hour in the winter (or overcast days) and 4 in the summer (or super sunny days)... Not much production but I got a government credit and the investment pays for itself after a few years...

    Controlled Environment Agriculture by Shrubs

    1. By hydro, I less meant the medium and more the methods involved. With such a large setup, I was expecting something less manually-intensive (like an ebb and flow, for example). 2. You said 20lbs a month so I figured you had two flowering rooms producing 20lbs a month. I have two flowering...

Hard to believe my man... The physics engine in that game is the closest to real life I've ever seen in ANY game of ANY genre. As for pure shooters, I don't know of ANY that incorporate gravity and destruction of buildings. Furthermore, the lighting, shadows, explosions, and overall graphical...
