exhausting into my house heat ventilaion..pics

You should be able to buy a 6" hvac register from Lowes/Home Depot and hook it up in reverse to accomplish what you want to do. Another option is to just cut out a piece of wood/metal the same size as your current register vent, cut out a 6" circle and use a 6" adhesive take off. If you have...

    R.I.P Nate Dogg...

Damn I am saddened by this news. I remember hearing Just Another Day on acid and it being the fuckin joint. Nate brought a unique sound to hip hop. Made a lot of newer tracks actually listenable.

Good Enough for Venting a Garage?

You might want to check craigslist or something for some used fans. I scored an 8" Elicent fan for $75 last month. People seem to want top dollar for their used lights, but fans and accessories usually they sell off for much cheaper.

Sizing down Al B's perpetual SOG garden

The whole basis of his operation is having 4 lights on staggered flowering schedules. There's no good way to scale it down to just one flowering light. The plants near the end of harvest are going to dominate the light, which negates one of the big benefits of SOG (even canopy). The only good...

Moving apartments to start a Med Grow (plz help)

First thing you'll want to check is how many separate circuits the apartment has and take special note of any 240v ones. Open up the breaker panel and see how big the main breaker is and how many 15/20 amp breakers there are. 2000w requires only 2 circuits at 120v so worst case scenario is...

How to Ventilate a closet with no access when cutting isnt an option!

For that much money you could have hired a guy to patch and repaint the hole you made venting into the attic.

Question about switching an existing circuit from 120v to 240v

Haha good advice, but by girls I meant my plants. I didn't want to disrupt their light cycle.

Question about switching an existing circuit from 120v to 240v

Thanks for the response and for the video link. It's pretty much what I expected. I just wanted to make damn sure everything I researched was correct. I was hoping that someone can tell the kind of breaker that I needed from the picture of the panel but I guess I'll have to actually crack it...

Question about switching an existing circuit from 120v to 240v

Hi all, I am getting a replacement Lumatek ballast soon which will be capable of running on either 120v or 240v. I already have an existing Quantum that can run on either voltage as well and a bunch of multi-tap 400w ballasts that I eventually want to implement as well. Therefore, I think it...

Would this exhaust fan work for my veg cabinet?

Kinda spendy but yes it will work. 3'x3'x6' is 54 cubic feet so you'll be exchanging your air more than twice per minute with that fan. You might need a strong frame on your cab though. I've used a bathroom fan before but it was a super loud 70CFM 6 sone unit and it wobbled the shit out of...

Can you use a universal power supply for a 600W Lumatek Ballast?

I think you mean an uninterruptible power supply. I'm sure if you select the proper size, it will work. May I ask, what's involved in powering down your setup properly? There might be better devices out there for what you want to do.

BYLROY's 1000w Purple Diesel semi SOG

I had a pretty bad week. First the whole issue with the cops, then the other day my Lumatek 1000w crapped out on me. Luckily Lumatek is replacing it under their prorated warranty (after 3 years), so it's only costing me $110 and I'll be getting the newer model with the dimming and super...

BYLROY's 1000w Purple Diesel semi SOG

You guys won't believe what just happened. I'm upstairs testing some electrical circuits, with eyes on expanding my grow when I notice three or four cops creeping outside of my front door. They walk past my door and then circle back, at which point I hear a knock. For a second, I think...

    2x 1000 watt or 4x 400

Two 1000w give you better light penetration and more efficiency. Four 400w give you better coverage. I own two 1000w and four 400w and my 400w are on the shelf collecting dust. Draw your own conclusions.
