I just had the same problem mate although too many variables in my case to know why. I changed strain and went for a different type of pot. Last time i averaged 4oz per plant this time not even 2. Sometimes we got to just take it on the chin and look forward to the next one.

Bit of lime in the soil will raise the pH or stabilise it at around 7. It does leech out of the soil so needs a top dressing later on. I grow in a medium which starts 6.0 then add lime to bring it up a bit. Needs well watering in though as it will burn otherwise.
