Scratch that. I found a 200w heater but there's no temperature control. You can either turn it on or off so there's no way to turn it off once it reaches a max temp. Does anyone else know if the bulbs in my first post will cause a plant to hermie?

I would except I already have the smallest one that I could find and it still draws 11 amps. That wouldn't be a huge issue except my grow draws power from my living room which is pulling 8 amps itself and 12 with my grow lights on. Granted the heater would only be for the dark cycle, but still...

Will something that emits infrared light (not visible to the human eye) cause your plants to go hermie if it is used as a heat source during the dark cycle of flowering? I'm talking about these to be exact...

Thanks. I wanted to pick some up but then I wondered if you had to use two gallons per gallon of soil like you do when flushing with water. That would be quite expensive.

Also - is it concentrate, or do you use it as is?

Maybe when you learn to read you can come back and try to be a smarta. . I mean try to give advice. There can be no light during the dark cycle so an ordinary heat lamp is useless.

Forgot to mention that it would be for the dark period of flowering. While lights are on they will keep it warm in there.

With winter approaching I'm wondering if there's any type of lamp that I can put in my grow room which is in an attic to keep it warm. Like a lamp that creates heat only and no light or something. I have a tiny portable heater but that thing draws 12 amps by itself. I'd like to tackle it now...

You can probably drink Mighty Wash if you had it. It's just electrically charged water that delivers a shock strong enough to kill the mites, but not harm the plant.

The majority of the high temps are during lights out so it wouldn't be growing anyways. I'm guessing this is not a common issue so I'm just going to ride it out and see. Looks like outside temps start to average 65-70*F after the second week of Sept. so it's only for a little bit longer anyways...

I don't think that's the case. If it were then it kind of defeates the purpose of sending in your money to the state and getting your card. You could just get your paperwork from your dr. and grow.
