Have u upgraded your breaker panel? If it's 1920's and you still have a fuse box that's an easy place to start. If the bedrooms are common at the fuse box you could separate them at the new panel but I'd never try and run anything close to 1.6kW on that old stuff, leave it all for domestic...

I switched from a 1000w Lumatek HPS to a Hortilux and the difference is surprising. Wish I had started with the Hortilux.
