my opinion, if u want one:) dwc is the way, i have done soil, rockwool and hydro. all taste as good as eachother, but dwc is awesome for growth rate and yield, never mind ease of growing, no mess , medium from the tap ffs :) ... the secret i think is in the flush, which again...

cheers d loc , have used gh for dwc with gd results, didnt realise there was a soil version.. jus wonderin really how long shud i wait b4 giving some nutes,, when in soil what sort of window do u have with plant having enough nutes to not having enough? in dwc it can be 24hrs ,

i also dont use a ppm meter, i use 1/7th of rec when i get a nice set of roots in bucket, then everytime i change res i add another 1/7th so by the time im in week 4 shes on half strength, jus make sure the bucket gets a gd rinse during res change. samee in flower, but i never take it...

id say rockwool is too wet,, id cover it up before the light enduces algae growth, been stung with that befor:shock:, also hold off on the nutes for a week or so,, they really dont need it at that size, i find them very easy to burn if feeding starts too young, personally i wait till plant...

carry on as u are gonzo :) i give mine a little misting also, an keep em in th eprop or jus on the heat pad. keep doing this until you pot them up.. give a gd watering and leave for gd 3-4 days between waterings unless u can see quite clearly that they thirsty gd luck bud..

joe u need at least a ppm meter an ph tester for sure,, also a way of checking res temps... u jus cant guess this stuff if u want to grow healthy beaming plants. 1/4 is a gd guide, but sometimes they want more and sometimes they want less.. reap what u sow brother
