    Must Stash Crop! Curing Fast?

silica sounds like an interesting option, the only problem is that my time constraints and schedule make it hard to order that stuff online at this point. Would have to find them locally at a store. Any idea who might carry them? Has anyone ever cured with these pellets?

help on two 3 1/2 ft plants!

Just did that with some outdoor kush plants, took the tops 1.5-2 weeks before the bottoms. My plants had been topped so there were multiple tops per plant. Worked out great, well worth it. The lower buds took a bit to start kicking again after trimming which sets it back hence the two weeks...

Big Blue(NL#5xBlueberry) day 41 of flowering...

10 more days isn't too bad, definitely better than tomorrow. You don't go to school close enough to cruise back and take it later in the month??

Time scale on trichomes changing colour??

I'm outdoor, and I watched my trichs very closely this summer with my microscope, and they seemed to change very slowly and at different rates. on different plants. Given I was growing outside with indoor genetics, and I had issues in june with my already flowering plants slowing bud growth...

Big Blue(NL#5xBlueberry) day 41 of flowering...

Plant looks good and healthy. I bet if you harvested that stuff you'd get some good smoke and things would work out. I just harvest two sour kush plants early by about a week or two because of time constraints. The downside is that you will lose a large amount of weight and some potency going...

    Must Stash Crop! Curing Fast?

Maybe I'll go half and half and see what happens, cut my chances. I am on my 6th day drying with half, and on day 3 with the rest of the crop. I have almost a week to cure with the first batch. Still not enough time??

    Must Stash Crop! Curing Fast?

I was considering that freezer option, but I read that somehow freezing the buds draws the moisture to the outside and can harm trichomes, reducing potency. has anyone ever stored in the freezer and noticed anything? I have no first hand experience with it...

Storing trim for bubble hash question

sounds like it might work out just fine. I just wonder if freezing in water will make that much of a difference compared to packed jars of 100% dry trimmings in the freezer. might be just as good, and easier. Worth doing it just for the experiment factor alone though!

    Must Stash Crop! Curing Fast?

I just harvested my last two plants and must leave on a trip soon! I could be gone as long as a month. I know ideally you would be cracking open jars daily so the buds can breath, but I don't have weeks to do that. If they are somewhat dry, will they be safe from molding? I would hate to get...

Outdoor grow how to force flower

I had one of my plants revert just like that. I'm curious to see what it produces because the little shoots on the top seem so much different and closer together than regular vegetative growth. what kind of flowers do these reverted plants produce?

    Growing Outdoor In Southern US

From what I have read, it appears that what flowers and when has a great deal to do with genetics. For instance, near pure sativas, which are equatorial plants, will be more likely to veg even during shorter days of say 14 hrs, and flowere when they are physically mature. Near the equator, there...

    Growing Outdoor In Southern US

This season marks my first outdoor grow. Here in socal, the weather and sunlight is perfect, however the day lengths aren't as long as up north, and I have had trouble vegging my plants to a larger size before they flower. Which strains are best suited for growing down here? Right now I have OG...

    First time grower

Its not necessarily beneficial to top all plants. It only increases yield for some plants, if you know your strain you could find out. According to my medical grow bible, jack herer, durban poison and mighty mite yield more from being topped. however on other strains the main cola is where all...

    Illinois budding?

some almanacs will show you the day lengths. I use this weather website called wunderground.com. type in your location, enter a date under the astronomy/almanac section and you can view the length of day for that date. Man a six foot plant could vary a great deal in yield depending on genetics...

    curled leaves? *pic*

Thats crazy I had a plant that shot out curled circling leaves exactly like that when it reverted back to veg from flower, but that guys way too young for that, probably just the leaf unfolding itself or something.

when does flowering outdoors start?(help asap plz)

What you should do is wait until the end of july and then leave them in darkness for 48 hrs before you put em outside and they'll know its flower time.

    Just started a crazy experiment

yeah that depends alot on where you are latitude wise, which will affect the length of day. they could start flowering at 14.5, just not as vigorously as at 12. also the genetics obviously dictate length of flowering time and sensitivity to light sched and all that.
