hey, if you've got yourself a salvia plant that isnt too bad either.

You can ghetto rig it if you want, and just throw a garbage bag over it on the cold nights.....that seemed to work for me.

Thanks man, that did help a lot....but that brought up one more question. When i snip the plant, can i just snip the buds right away and hang them individualy, or are you supposed to let the plant in its entirety hang?

Kill the dudes or your bud will be full of seeds and worthless. Its easy to tell, the girls get nice pretty flowers (buds) and the dudes get nasty ballsack looking things.

Does it make a difference whether you harvest during the light hours or the dark hours? If so, why?

They will be totally fine, ive left mine for 3 weeks untouched before and they were fine....the only thing is the soil will probably dry up, but they will deffinately be alive and still kicking.

it could probably go into november a little bit. The plants can withstand temperatures lower than 45, especially if you cover them. I know it has been 45 degrees every night for the past week or two by me and mines still kicking.
