Milkman's DIY stealth perpetual grow cabinet (with pics)

I just looked at those booster fans. Unfortunately don't think they would fit in my space. It's all pretty tight in there anyway. I could try and wire up a second identical PC fan exhaust? Next to the current one? Then I would have 2 exhausts and 2 passive intake holes. The power strip I didn't...

Milkman's DIY stealth perpetual grow cabinet (with pics)

Hey man, yeah I'll hopefully be able to control temps a bit more. I'm considering adding another PC fan exhaust. Any thoughts on this? And the hooks are for LST (to tie string to) and I'll hopefully be able to train the plant around the pod. If I can get 1oz a plant I'll be happy! Ceers

    Welcome New Members!

Hello all, posted in here a few times about various things but properly introducing myself now as I'll be seeking help from AFN more regularly now and I'll be attempting a grow diary etc. I'm under 30, from Bristol, in the UK. Pretty much the UK's home of cannabis. If there are any other...

DIY cabinet grow - intake and outtake question

Hello all. Just about to finish building my grow cabinet. A question about the intake and exhaust - I have 1 PC fan acting as an exhaust, rated at: Fan speed 1600 RPM Max airflow 110.61 CFM Max static air pressure 3.12 mm H2O Noise level 26.01 dB...

DIY stealth cabinet grow...powering PC fan controller?

@loftygoals @silverserf many thanks for your replies. After doing a test run with my CFLs in there I have realised there is no need for the controller -it's getting pretty hot in there so need the fans at full speed, so I'll take your advice on that. I think I was trying to be too clever with...

DIY stealth cabinet grow...powering PC fan controller?

Hello all, Building a stealth grow box which I'll do a thread about when it's finished. It's nearly there though. One main problem as I'm the WORST for technical, electrical and general know-how - what would be the best way to power this PC fan controller from the mains (or PSU or something)...

My DIY (ish) grow box idea - any good?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I will be growing photo's in this cabinet, and auto's in my PC. Sorry for any confusion. Two intake fans because I live on a third floor and my room can get quite hot, and also quite cold. It is prone to temperature swings so if I can control the fan speed it will...

My DIY (ish) grow box idea - any good?

Hello all. Looking to build a cabinet grow to go alongside my PC grow. This cabinet would be used as a perpetual 12/12 from seed grow...i.e. total of 3 plants and planting a new seed every 3/4 weeks. This way I can sample a lot more strains and harvest more regularly. I'm not so fussed about...

I screwed up.. I think.. Whats wrong with this?

The main mistake I made on my first grow was overcaring. I know it's hard! Good luck. Just keep an eye on environment and overwatering/overfeeding. And let her do her thing! Glad the light has worked. Remember. Less is usually more!

I screwed up.. I think.. Whats wrong with this?

Okay. I would start the light at about 24-28 inches above the seedlings, and lower after a couple of days, or as needed. Don't start with the light too close as this will shock the seedling and stunt it some more. Mine is a 240W LED and I start mine at around 24 inches.

    Yet another auto problem

As long as you don't mess up the transplanting, the shock shouldn't been TOO bad. I mean, yes there is no way of avoiding the stress, it really messed my last grow up. Always start in the final container. Are you sure that the problem is root rot? Is she not root bound? How big is your pot? And...

I screwed up.. I think.. Whats wrong with this?

Don't transplant auto's if you can help it. 3gal will be fine for it's whole life. It's a good idea to start in the final pot. Just go easy on the watering first couple of weeks until its root system is fully established. yes the plant needs light the moment it breaks the surface of the soil...

Journey to a successful grow [Help me, please]

As above, I would go outdoors if the weather is right, and if you want to keep the plant low and small, I would recommend looking in Low Stress Training (the only training method recommended for autos). This gives the plant an even canopy, encourages horizontal rather than vertical growth...

Snapped germinated seedling will it still grow?

Hi, if they're auto's I would just start over again. How many days old are they? The amount of early growth you would lose may not be worth the time invested over the next 3-4 months.

Changing nutrients? Flora v AN sensi coco grow A&B

Evening/Morning all I have recently been doing some reading up on these Advanced Nutrients and their ph perfect formulas. I'm currently using the flora series trio, plus calmag, plus some other supplementary stuff, growing in coco. A few questions: - How good are the AN stuff generally, in...

    Help w/diagnosis? pls

I'm guilty of not measuring my PPM or run off or anything try and just use the tips of the leaves to tell me when I'm using too many nutes, but try to only use nutrients every two or three waterings. Ph is always good, between 5.7-6.1 usually, but I do use a strip and bottle indicator so it's...

In coco with a small amount of perlite mixed in. Started in 15L autopots, which I'm going to turn on soon probably, as heard many bad things about...
