We have had steady rain for the last 24 hours and will continue for the next day or two. My question is does this much rain fall flush my plants naturally? And being 3 to 4 weeks away from harvest should I stop nutes (FF Tiger Bloom) and molasses and just water from my rain barrell until they finish? Thanks for your help!

I think most of it now is from tropical storm Lee. I'm in western PA and on top of the rain we already got it's supposed to rain for the next 3-4 days. And it's cold too, SUX!

If its bad rain (especially during last two weeks of flowering) try to shake the colas gently, but vigorously, get all that access water out. I'm only taking my plants to 50/50 trichomes. Just shake shake shake, shake shake shake, shake your weed.. shake your weed lol. I would still feed until hairs are 20-25% brown/red. I don't believe in religious flushing so I just put a gallon of water through them every couple-few days. But I would definitely continue feeding/molasses until 20-25% hairs are brown/red.

It definitely does. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to harvest early, but it looks just a little TOO early to do that. Going to have to ride this week out and hope that the plants don't stretch or mold.
It's too bad, because a sunny week right now could really help.

Last year was my first, too. It can be very very exciting to say the least. You want your harvest to be as good as possible, no one ever wants to lose anything. What strains do you have dire? If they are mold resistant you will usually be A-Ok. Just shake the colas, especially last 2 weeks. September is a very rainy month, always is. I'm expecting mine to be ready to harvest by the 29th. So for me, I should stop feeding nutes some where around 15-19th aprox. That's just an example, mine are slowly getting some red on the pistils. My NL is pretty. Strong strain, while the Swiss Cheese is not very exciting, I think.

Last year harvest time was very exciting, at times I was a little uneasy about it all. But now that I have a year under my belt, its just not as exciting like the very first time. Although, I do believe every year will be different.

My swiss cheese are dynamite, had a spot of mold in a cola and cut it about a week ago, and it's great smoke. Super strong skunky smell though really stinks shit up.

NL good to me this year. Your plants look awesome. NL seems very vibrant, to say the least. NL calyxs seem more engorged than Swiss Cheese calyxs. Don't have too many bud sites on the SC. I think its because the NL is obstructing the sunlight from the SC. Or maybe its just a seed that started out good, but didn't live up to the hype??? Or maybe its me! lol
