I'm a house-painter, today on one of the jobs we were painting a bathroom. The lady asked if I could do a small touch-up in one of her bedrooms. While I was in there touching up the spot I looked the room over and touched up a few other spots for her. I didn't tell her I just did it. She may never notice and then again she might, but that's not the point.

this is an ace thread. +rep for the do-gooders..

yesterday i gave a homeless guy a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of beer. he's always in the same spot and i see him quite often, usually try give him something but he was really grateful saying merry xmas and all. it's nice to be nice.
also went up to my parents' house today to do some cleaning, my ma gets pretty stressed about the place looking good for when family come to stay but she's getting a bit stiff to be doing hardcore housework now, plus she's dead busy at work these days, though i'd do a little favour for her.

today I went for lunch at a local bakers, got my food as I walked out I saw a lady and her young son trying to put a big Xmas tree on her roof rack.
I put the food in my van, and helped her lift it and tie it on.
my brother bought a homeless man a cup of tea monday, when he told me I could tell he was chuffed.
feels good to help people out, good hearts.

Why is it that us stoners have such a bad reputation in society but are probably some of the most straight-up, kindest people around?

i usually think it's cause society is wrong and mainly constructed from people who are either very stupid or very ignorant.
maybe if everyone else were stoners they'd be more chilled and be more generous and kind.

yeah man, the amount of propaganda that's out there is ridiculous.
to be honest i can't figure out why the powers that be haven't started using it to make money yet. well obv they have, but i mean publicly
