I hate drama, and last thing i need at my age and station in life is a "arch-enemy", which is what its turning into.

Why do people have to be liek that? Why cant bitches just be cool?

Agreed, dont let people like that get to you, ive been dealing with shady no good pricks like that all my life.
Tell that pussy with the restraining order to keep hiding behind it. After the quick work you did to his nose, i wouldn't worry about that con artist anymore. Sleep well, you did the right thing. Rep if i can.

so are they looking ok? they the screen is full of new growth and it seesm to be doing well, but there is alot of undergrowth and lost light....maybe in just worring'

things are going well, lots of new greens pooping up^^ i am also about to start construction on a 6x6 tent to grow the rest of my medical plants.....gonna make it myself, 2x4's emergency blankets and Panda Mylar, some zippers and a sowing machine.....far cheaper and more discreet than ordering one imo. My moms is coming for a visit next week so im pumped about that....

all in all things are right as rain.....and you?

I have thought about it, the only thing i have trimmed were smaller branches blocking light from bigger one once i got it into the screen.
I read up on it and id want to take the growth of the bottoms parts to promote growth in the top part correct?
Im going to do some today, just want to be double sure the bottom is what goes....

You got it man. Think about this... all those tiny branches at the bottom of your plant are taking up energy and for what? A few little popcorn buds? Trimming those off saves the energy and puts it into the tops of your plant. Check out the lollipop method. A lot of people do this style of trimming when they grow tall ass plants. I wasn't growing mine tall so I didn't do that method. I still trimmed off a lot of lower growth but I didn't cut many of the main branches off the bottom, if that makes sense lol You can trim fan leaves but not too many and only when those fan leaves are blocking your light from reaching the rest of your plant. You will also understand what you want to trim off the plant when it starts to flower. I trimmed probably about 20-25 clones off one of my plants and still think I should of cut 3-4 more branches off of it.
It really just depends on who you are, and what you're trying to get out of it.

Exactly. All the different methods serve a specific purpose. Do whichever one suits you and your expectations.

Have you always trimmed your plants so much or did you find better results from doing it that way? Everything I've read suggests that trimming too much will slow growth and effect yield. I have seen people that strip their plant naked like that, but I never had the chance to ask why they did it. You have me curious...

OK so i basically trimmed everything that didnt stand a chance at hitting the screen. If it looked like it was going to be big and strong i left it and just trimmed the lower growth from it.
hoping i did it right, sure is intimidating not being 100% sure, newb status is not fun. but the under growth is all gone and they look cleaner under the screen.... thanx for the tips boys, hope you are all having great days....


Also anyone tried master kush? just ordered seeds for it and am hoping its as good as i read it was.

We all have to start somewhere! I'm still a n00b too man. When i first started trimming I was nervous as hell ahaha Didn't know what to cut and what to leave. I just did it the best I could and they seemed to plump right back up in a few days so I figured it went well. Also I don't know if it was in that article I posted but you shouldn't ever trim more than 2/3 of the plant at one time. That much stress could potentially hermie your girl.

Dude, I'm growing master kush :D I haven't smoked it before but it's looking like my biggest yielder by far. The buds got pretty big fast but are just starting to show some trichomes working their way outward. I'm hoping they start showing more tric's soon! I'll be able to give ya a smoke report after I harvest though.

Yes only ones that won't produce good buds, in other words I don't want to waste nutes and light on popcorn buds

I got mine as clones. They were from a friend of a friend so I'm not sure where they originated.

Hey man,

Nice girls for your first grow. This might be too much for your first grow but you could try topping or FIM'ing your plants, I'd say do it twice to each, so you have 4 branches of growth, then weave those. It makes things take longer cuz of all the stress you're putting on the plants by topping AND weaving them, but if you're good about it you'll be impressed with the results.

Also once enough growth is above the net cut off all those nodes beneath it. No light's getting down there and no nugs will grow, so you want to trim away all that and let the plant concentrate its growth above the net where you're nuggin!
