:leaf:I decided to start a new thread since my old title isnt really relevant anymore. I'll just make this a perpetual journal as well. Im trying to germ my seeds further apart now, a week or 2 from each. Up to 6 plants, I really had to butcher their leaves to get them all to fit but it seemed to work out ok. I removed every fan leaf once they started to flower around day 18 and continued to prune them for several weeks. I count the first day as the day they go from the dixie to the solo cup. I have 4 other beans in various points of germing and seedling. I chopped a runt that wouldnt grow and my 2 other platinum OG clones were harvested. :leaf:

I got to try out the platinum OG today, its still drying but I powered through a semi dry bowl. OMG I was so high I almost had a panic attack, not fun LOL. I need to stick with the low grade sativa for my tolerance I guess!

okay so i attempted 12/12 w/ CFL's and as a person who never did 12/12 i got kinda confused and scared and put my plant back in 18/6 due to the small size of the plant already budding! I didnt wanna be stuck with a plant with 1 bud on it and it being only like 6in tall. Will the plant continue to grow and have more colas than just one? even though it was budding from the top? i also heard that w/ CFL's u should do 14/10?

I haven't heard that about the light cycles and cfl. I do 18/6 if/when I veg. If you want more tops I'd top the plant a couple times to ensure it. Although I have heard that clones taken from flowering plants have a tendency to have more tops automatically but I don't know if that would pertain to what you did. Like I said, be certain and cut the top off yourself.

Heres todays view! I got 3 new sprouts under the light and 3 more germing still in top of the cab. They'll stay in the solo cup till sexed and either be tossed or potted up at that point.

So I had been wanting to create a journal on my pc/phone/ipad to use instead of the little rollitup box you see on "my rollitup"
So check this out! Couldnt be easier really. The plants are labeled A thru whatever. I write the date on the first line, which is the day they go in the solo cup. Then within excel you can just click drag the bottom right corner of that date field straight down and it will auto-populate all the other boxes. I drag it down 90 days and thats it, I leave a column in between for any notes I will want to make for each plant as I go. So then say I want to look at plant C's age, I find todays date in the column then go all the way left and that tells me how many days old it is. I know I described this way too much LOL...

just out of curiosity, do you know of anyone using aeroflow systems that go from rooted clones straight into 12/12? I don't see why more people wouldn't do this?!

If I had an aeroflow system I certainly would go from clone to flower right away, the spacing on those sites is very small so you'd either be growing every other or really cramping them up.

I ordered a blackstar 240 yesterday that's going in the cab as soon as I get it! Finally my Christmas! The other one was for my 4 kids so now it's about mine :)

Heavy dose of FF Big bloom today AND I tried a shot of Miner-all, yes its for reptiles! Its a calcium and mineral supplement, so lets see if it kills my plants :)
Its also cool to know that I can fit 6 plants this size under my 150 watt and they could all perform similar. Wouldnt be a bad pull for the wattage eh?

I've seen a couple of videos on youtube where this one guy was doing this I'm gonna see if I can find the link and send it to you

Ok so I needed to address a couple things. My temps were a little higher than I was happy about, getting all the way up to 88 at times. The smell was getting to be too much. The cab was louder than I wanted and I also wanted to move it.

So I took the fan out of the top of the cab where it was and put it in the attic, bought some 4" ducting and ran it to it. I also put the extraction point in the actual grow chamber as compared to where I had it in the top part before. Well its quieter now, the smell is gone, and it hasnt raised above 78 degrees! I spent $12 on the ducting. Yeah I could have bought an inline fan but Im cheap, already had the bathroom fan and didnt need more power!

I'm stoked, temps are down like 10 degrees and I can't smell a thing even when I'm in the closet.
