120 Plant Perpetual DWC SOG

I'm gearing up for a 120 plant perpetual DWC SOG. I might be going with 5 plants per 5 gallon bucket. I'll have 6 rows of 4 and hoping to get a harvest of each row every 10 or so days.

My first grow just finished and I had a white widow x big bud and a sugar black rose. I wasn't too impressed with the BB but the Sugar Black is a crazy couch lock, giggly stone... super creeper... it takes a good 10-15min to fully hit you and lasts quite a while. So I only mothered the Sugar Black. They should be ready to start cloning from in about 3-4 weeks. I also just got a bunch of fem seeds so I'll have 8 different strains of moms in my 5x3 tent. The seeds cracked on Friday and should be ready to plant sometime next week.

So... here's the "gearing up" part. I'm experimenting with the WWxBB clones I had left over before I trashed them, as well as the sugar black.

- All buckets below are 5 per bucket and each bucket is at a different stage.

- All buckets have not been flushed and refilled at all this whole time. I've just been topping them off as needed. I wanted to try this just because of the hassle factor if I had to completely change the water every week or two... F-That! The results so far of simply topping them off speak for themselves in the pics below.

- I said "might" go with 5 per bucket because I'm working on a new bucket construction that I thought up a week ago. I have one of these buckets built but I'm waiting on clones to test it with before I start the REAL SOG. If the buckets do as good as I'm expecting, I'll have 7 plants per bucket and they will be super manageable. I'll post up pics of those buckets if it's successful.

Here's some pics of my experimenting with WWxBB and Sugar Black Rose.

What do you think? Happy gardening! ;)

I trimmed everything up again last night. The flower room is really starting to look pretty good now. I can't wait to see it in 2 weeks. ;)

I'm having a really good feeling about this SOG grow thats coming up.

i also have a roughly 7' X 5' room and I'll tell ya right now . I don't care how many plants you stuff in there or how many 1000 watt lights you have. The room will only produce what it can fit in that space. I've done 5 large plants and 25 smaller plants and the yield has been about the same. A plant can only produce so much per sq meter of space. Your going to end up with a few plants that dominate the rest are not going to get enough light or air circulation. You are not going to get the yield that you think. Great idea but it's been done and it don't work.

You can get large 4 x 4 100 gallon reservoirs and sog it up in that. Should only have to change the res 3-5 times per grow which is just a matter of hooking a hose up to the water pump and letting it drain into the bath tub. They make different sizes so you could get what you need and plumb a few together if 4 x 4 isn't big enough.
