funny you should mention these things, did you have some of the same problems in the beginning? I did most of the things you mentioned above (put fan back up, cut back on the water, and raised the temp) back when I put them in 1gal and they are responding great. I will throw up some more photos tonight.
thank you for that tip about the heat mat, I was wondering how to counter the temp at night (dropped to about 67F last night), but the day temp stays in the high 70s, humidity low 30s to low 40s.
I'm actually not using FF soil, it was some stuff I picked up called Filthy Rich; not sure how I feel about it so I think I will check out that Sunshine mix. thanks.
now off to check out your progress...
lol. no never had those problems but have read every book and hours and hours on the internet. i have also been growing in soil for a long time.
next time try not to use dixy cups and if you must poke tons of drain holes, then at night when its cold put the heat matt under them and leave it at 72F* your roots will go crazy. next time you see roots coming out the bottom that means time to transplant the girls, never cut them.. if anything let the air cut them for you (air prune)
also if the temp drops more then 15F* at night it realy hurts the plants, puts them into shock/stress. try not to let their be a big drop in temps at once.
