i like to personalize anything i own.... it wouldn't be personal if i did everything everyone else did. and nature? clouds on random days... some days longer than others. all types of weather shit and mother natures creatures... and your telling me some how a 13/17 light sched. is throwing its "nature" off balance? eh... i just figure this plant ended up on some capdaddy island and this jus so happens to be my nature ;) its indoor.. i play god in here.

Evidently things that are technical facts are all nothing more than; "blah blah blah" to you but I thought at least someone here might like to know how photoperiod plants actually work.

A photoperiod is the duration of daily exposure to light, considered especially with regard to the effect of the exposure on growth and development. Cannabis is a photoperiod plant which technically means it is the amount of light that controls what it does, not the amount of dark.

You made it more than clear that learning actual proven facts are meaningless to you but possibly someone here might like to learn something or another now and then.

Do you believe that because your plant had the misfortune of ending up in your little indoor Gilligan's Island where you; "play god" that your playing will be able to alter thousands and thousands of years of evolution or what a REAL God might have created?

i was going to let him know that millions of years worth of evolution of autotrophs told them that the day was 24 hours... this kid is a jokester, a true clown, and on that note, im out.
 
how can people be talking shit when his plant is growing and looks fine, sure dont looked fucked up to me, dont worry about it people just always have to have things to bitch and talk shit about, most people do 24/0 or 20/4 or whatever for veg but is there a time of the year that is 24 hours of light? no but still grows fine

yea 12/12 works and could be the best but if the other way is working why not,,, let me no how everything turns out

everything turned out bomb!... next grow i will have a control for all these bored no life nit pickin 12/12 supporters ... same strain, same mother plant. i will set one to this sched. which is 13/17 and the other will flower in 12/12 .. we will see then for sure .. well at least with one strain. and i think next time i'll use better lights.. this grow was off cfls .

Yeah, don't ever attempt to improve current siuations or try new techniques! Never questioning 'old wisdom' is definitely the key to the brightest future possible. Always do what you're told! Thinking outside the box is for illegal border-hoppers.

well through my research no one person can say that all cannabis plants will or will not. it really depends on that plant.

so i will testify to a 13/17 light schedule, yes im aware that its more than a 24 hour day.. but who told these plants a day was 24 hours? well im deceiving them and telling them days are 30 hours.

hahahahhaha you so funny man,, keep tryin you might get a little big of flowering but a MJ plant needs 12hr od dark to flower properle.. and due to photosynthesis a plant produces its flowers when it is dieing, and at 12/12 a MJ plant starts to think its dieing so it starts to flower,,, if you lower you lighting through out flowering you will get bigger buds again this is due to photosynthesis.... learn more about plants man hahaha

Your sarcastically made point is valid enough in regards to some things, but not to all. Certain things are what they are and they will always remain so, they are facts, and it is an injudicious thing to do to ignore them.

Using your logic someone might as well ignore what causes an aircraft wing to generate lift. Air traveling over a wing is affected by Bernoulli's principle just as it is by passing through a constriction in a tube. The constriction forces the air to speed up, causing a drop in pressure. Air traveling above and below a wing must reach the trailing edge in precisely the same amount of time. The curved shape of the upper wing creates a longer route for the air to travel. It's forced to accelerate in order to catch up with the bottom, creating the low pressure area and the resulting difference in pressure causes the wing to generate lift. Using your logic that old school wisdom should be ignored and someone might as well go ahead and reverse the design or create a new design that would not create the pressure differences needed to create lift and expect it to not only fly but to fly better.That would be the same sort of; "thinking outside the box" as you advocate.

What causes people like you, and the funky cold medina light schedule guy, to believe that such alterations is how things are done are possibly good new techniques and might be better is because you lack the knowledge and understanding of plants and plant functions and plant needs that is needed to realize that what you call; "thinking outside the box" is like someone simply not knowing that gravity exists and putting on a Superman costume and leaping off a tall building and actually expecting to be capable of flying.

Just because someone is ignorant of facts does not mean they do not exist and that they do not apply.
