I'm not doing that I'm just taking in everyone's advice.my father grew for 40 yrs.i just never took the time to get into it till now.he has passed and his notes got me this far.first run not bad looking at all.im from California my aunt is in sonoma...my cousins are in humbolt.so trust and believe I'm listening. Always trying to learn new stuff.my family has been telling me to let it go a lil longer too.im in virginia that's qhy I'm on here.there 3000 miles away.and hard to contact sometimes.but thanks for your opinion.

The reason I know is there are no pistils showing
False readings from leaves will result in premature harvest

Herb and suds I am not doubting what you say sir.im just learning.and I put it back on nutes and under the light I'm gonna go a few more weeks.i just hope 4 days of a flush and back on nutes don't hurt her

Your well respected guy must be growing a knock-off version of Blue Dream from seed. The real Blue Dream is a clone only variety from Santa Cruz, CA which originated about 15-years ago. It has skinny Sativa leaves, which look like this:

Well if it's good it's good. Maybe my perspective of your pics was off, but I've grown BD a few times a decade or so ago, and the structure looked different. I'm from Santa Cruz, so easy to get the real cut. I've never grown or tasted any BD that was gassy though, always had some blueberry haze taste. Honestly though I'm not a fan of it, it's an easy grower, but the high is boring to me.

Understandable...he'll maybe one day when I'm in Santa Cruz we can compare smoke.lol...I miss cali.im in Virginia now.cant wait to get bk..if you have any recommendations on where t get good seeds from I would love to know.a lot of these seed company's are bogus.

I always think this sort of shit! I remember when blue dream was that new shit but I haven't had anything like that first year I had it in forever. Great looking plant. You did a great job getting this far. So be proud of yourself for sure. Give her some time. Let her actually finish up. Let’s those calyx’s really swell. If it has any blue dream in it. They should be obvious. And my Cruz cut dream I had years ago always went past the 75-80 days mark. And end of October outside. Iv harvested it early before and regretted it completely. This is one those genetics you want to be patient on. I’m actually growing from seed right now from coffeeshop. Smells like a remember. But I understand it’s not the clone. Lol.

Well what happened back then wasn't much different to what's happened more recently with strains like Gorilla Glue and Wedding Cake, which are also select phenos, and then seed companies see the hype and create their own knock-off seed versions of the cut. You can find fire in some of those seeds and similar phenos, but it's generally not the same of the original cut.
Blue Dream was huge back in the day, I remember when it surpassed Sour D in hightimes top strains, because people were growing so much of it. The thing is the seed companies didn't have access to the original haze genetics that the Santa Cruz grower had. The Santa Cruz Haze in original BD was something the grower had been working on for a bit, and it wasn't just Super Silver Haze, which is what most people will tell you that it is.

What if they selfed it and worked with the genetics from there? I know it’s not the original clone only. But close. Or are they prolly bullshitting on those too?
