150w hps lights is there a range in colors ?

I'm starting flower time love my cfls but would like to try the hps lights this time around. is there a dif in the color for hps bulbs or are they standered in one color?

hps are all standard in there spectrum from what i know of ... which is orange/yellow/red

ok ty for the help,I didnt find any other info on them so I'll go with that and run..I saw a sale at lows for the 150w hps dusktill dawn lights.I'm going to just cover the sencer wit tape and hook up a cord them. With me being new to hps do the 150w get as hot as the 400?I here the 400w should be 24" away or so to keep from burn,I'm thinking half that for the 150w. and thanks again ..

MH has colors....
but they all range from <4100k

im not sure about how hot the 150's get but my 250 is almost giving out the same heat as my 400

i've noticed the 150w hps at lowes myself, about $60, it has possibilities
but hps does have some different spectrums, saw them over on 1000bulbs.com, cheap bulb site
didn't know that until i browsed through them
like you been using cfl's, but always thinking about what's next

Well i picked up 2 of the 150 hps from lows 59.99 each got them over 6 clones of krush as we speak.Put them about 10/12" away from them and they love it...I dont find the outside to be hot to the touch but i do have a 20" fan running in the corner about 7' away put my hand between the plant and light closer to the light and not much heat was felt seems to be a nice light easy to install and safe a big plus..My grow room is 4'x8'x8' high and the walls are panted wit a flat wight..I run a propane heater to get my girls warm and to add some co2 to the air.. anyways as for the lights they are nice and would say yes to anyone that might be thinking of them>.. thank you all for the info..

i am running a 150 mh and can put it 4" away from them, they love it. just dont leave for long or they try to touch it.i got mine out of a lamp post fixture ballast and all for 22.00 a piece

after a few days now with the 150 hps on I think i can move it alittle closer to her..I can hold my hand like 4" from the rim with not much heat but i do have that big fan..It seems to want to stretch to the hps light over the 150w cfl hanging on the right of it..I like the cfl for vegging and flowering but it is not keeping up wit the hps at the moment lol..

Does anyone know a website where they ship to canada , for 150 HPS

quite the bunch of lights there, you look to be rocking with lumens
looks like 400w of cfl and hps?

I'm running 150w cfl 6500k 10,000 lum wit 3 26wcfl 6500k 1800lum 3 42w cfl 2700k 3800 lum or in that area of lums dont no exact and the 150 hps around 15,000 lums..I dont mix the cfl while i'm in veg till two weeks befor bloom. slowly i take the 6500k away and replce all lights with the 2700k and flowering begins! this time around i took down one 150wcfl and put up a 150 hps i plane on taking the othere one down and replacing it also the cfls get replaced on the sides also every few days..I do this with cfl in my grows i cant what to see the buds and dif now with hps involved..I'm not saying it needs to be done like this I'm just saying i do it like this to (maybe sofly take my girl in change )I have made fem seeds turn herm befor not sure why but if that was the reason i want to try and help it not do it again..Anywho I'm rambling on and I type like shit lol..
