15W cfl enough to pop seed?

Waiting on my grow light to come in the mail, I was gonna pop seed on the lowest setting the dimmer can do but I need to get my meds growing soon and have everything just about setup. Link to my grow:

You don’t have $20 to go get a slightly higher watt one? They sell them in the supermarkets. You can get cfls close so you’ll be fine till your lights come but 15watts? For real?

highest one that fixture will hold, just need it for a few days to pop seed

Dnt need any light to pop a seed. They like it dark until the head pops out of the medium then give her light...

Yes...keep ot close 4-5 inches...add a couple more once she starts on 1st set of leaves

Finally somebody gave the right answer. Ya, I dont germinate with lights on either, lol.
The leaves are solar panels, that convert light into energy. Without leaves no light is best.

Definitely. try to get a 4 pack from home depot 10 bux. 23 true watt 6500k for veg. Then add 4 more 23watt 2700k for flower. Keep them close to the bud sights. happy growing and good smoking
