Do you know if it harms the plant from having them on a 18/6 schedule and switch them to 20/4?
No harm will be done, i have just started my own plant on 18/6 vegging, the reasoning behind this is i like to sleep well knowing that everything is turned off whilst i sleep, ala 12 pm everything off until 6 am when i am awake.

Just wondering everyone's opinion on a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle for veg? Does it make a difference doing one or the other?
are you running autos or photoperiod seeds? if autos go with 20/4 if not go with 18/6 growth rate isnt noticeably different between them with photo plants and it will save you a little on the power bill

Tbh i bought clones and don't know if they're photo or auto... didn't think to ask them.

they are photo if you bought them as clones 100 percent run them 18/6 a few more weeks and then change them to 12/12
For sure. I've only got a 48" high tent anyways so I was thinking I can't veg them very long. Is there any signs I should look for that they are ready to be flipped?

and also why do you say they're 100% photo if they're clones? Does something change from seed to clone if it starts as an auto?

I'm probably going seed my next grow so I can learn that part of it. Should've went that route to begin with cuz I see videos and pics of plants from seed and they look more hefty then my lil babies hahaha.

TBH that will come on what are you feeding it. I’ve got some clones going right now that look thicker and beautiful even more then the mom they came off of. All depends on the tlc your showing her

I've got the fox farm trio but have only done 2 feedings since picking them. Did one on transplant and one mid last week and decided to stop because the ppm on the run off was in the high 2000's and figured the premixed nutes in my happy frog was gunna be enough for awhile. Im scared to nute burn them lol.

Damn. Well that’s what I’m using plus the kelp Me kelp you and the cal mag, some shit called fish shit and A little Supertrive I’m only doing a half serving to 3/4 tho.

Someone told me to stop using the cal mag because I'm using fox farm soil which is organic and that the cal mag isn't needed? Idk im still figuring out how this works lol
