sweet. im still amazed with your cfl grows. when you change lights you will still rock but rock better bro. i cant wait. again sweet plant,

Awesome, man. I've going to harvest this weekend, too. I'm at 59 days since first pistils. Does anyone do the 48hrs of dark before harvest? I'm not convinced by any of that witchcraft, but I could be persuaded if anyone's sold on the results.
 
the science behind the dark is simple allot of info in the net. it allows the plant to make more thc. even when you chop her and hang in the dark she is still using the remaining nutes. the gain is small like 1-2 % more. but in my book every bit helps. i think the biggest thing to do is pull her right at lights on and then do your thing.

Thanks Sunny. I'm not sold either, considering total darkness doesn't occur in nature! Needless to say all the talk had me thinking. lol

I've been thinking about unplugging my lights at lights out at 6 pm then allow them to remain in dark all day the following day and night and harvest the second morning, just for the fuck of it.

Lol ... I decided to cut light hours down to 8 today and tomorrow. When lights go off Friday evening I will make my decision then about total darkness. Life changing decisions...lol
 
it wont hurt. also when you chop its important to keep them in the dark as much as possible. I like to do this. 24-36 hrs dark. Chop at main stem/hang upside down in dark 2 days. remove fan leaves and leave another day. chop again then trim and hang. check daily to see when the stems want to almost snap then put them in a plastic bag and let the moisture even out for 4-6 hrs or even 8. if they are not real moist then into jars with 62% rh pack. if moist hang another day and recheck. this could take 7-12 days total. but once in jars with 62 rh packs open lid daily for 1 hr for 3 days. if you are in doubt add 2 packs of 62 rh in them. after 4 days in jars take a sample and see hwo it tastes and how smooth it is. if it has any harse or makes you cough with a small hit then let them cure longer. you can cure them as long as you want but the more you cure them the smoother they get. teh packs are $.99 cents each on ebay. i suggest buying a couple more than you think you need. the steps i explained is what seperates the super dank bud from the average bud. you can really make your buds awesome if you cure right. im gonna also get mini rh meters for my jars. ill spend $100 on meters to make sure i cure them right.
Edit: i also have fans moving the air this is huge. so mold cannot take hold.

that is how i used to do it when outdoors was done all except the mini rh gauge and rh packs had to guess allot more.

edit: also keeping temps in 70's with 40-50% rh in the area helps allot. dont let temps get over 82 degrees F / 28C

Good info DC. I am going to hang whole plant this time, before I hung stems. I will do the 2day later fan leaf trim and stem cut sounds good to me. The rest of the info I've put to use before and thanks dude you always give some info I can use.
 
its important see the plant is still alive for 3 days. so it can use every last drop of stored nutes up and put them to good use. if you follow this you can get 2-5% more thc. that is the diff form a 2 hr high and a 4 hr high.

Hey guys quick question. last yr I dried in a closet. This yr I'm gonna hang her in my cab, 2'6"x1'6"x3'5". My cab has 2 pc fans rated @37 cfm each and a third pc fan, rated the same, hanging moving air around. Would this be too much, not enough, or just right for drying?
