1st ever grow, 1st ever journal, All tips and advise welcomed

I appear to be a bit tardy Shipman but I am subbing in hoping to get a glimpse at those clones you took. Your first grow looked great. Let me know how that "hay smell" went. I am interested as I am on my first grow as well and I'm sure we have similar questions. Lookin great! Keep it up.

Looking good man!you might want to flush a tad more at least get some yellowing on your fan leaves. It will improve taste and odor and how well it burns.

I got 17 oz's wet, off one plant. Thats after trimming. Hoping I get half of that for dry, but I doubt it. Thiswas my biggest plant. Next week hope to be harvesting 2 more. Had (5) 1 oz or more colas. Here is a pic. of 2 of them. Keep in mind this is still wet.
Got a question. Some of these popcorn buds will dry sooner, do I pull them out of drying box and jar up first? I was thinking 2 days and all popcorn buds go into jars. The reason I was going to do 2 days is because I broke off a small branch with a few popcorn buds on them about a week ago. Let them dry for 3 days. They smelled like hay. Figured I dryed too much, or wrong atmosphere. I will prob. put into jars a little sooner and just keep an eye out for mold. Enjoy, I know I am.
The trim job is first time too, After seeing pics. it could have been better. 4 1/2 hrs trimming this up. Has to be an easier way.

figure on about 30% after cure.if it smells like hay was probably dried to fast.keep it in a cool dark place and let it dry as slowly as possible without letting it mold. 2-3 days is not enough.mine hang for about 5-7 days then go to jars.

Wow!!!!! first plant is jarred now. 17 0z. wet, little over 3 dry, geez. Oh well thats 3 oz. i don't have to buy now. bringing my dry box down I broke a cola off one of my other plants. Hope it still works like when it was vegging, just tape it up and it heals. about a week from harvest, I doubt it will heal.

I hope to get about 1/2 pd off the three. This is just under 3 oz.
I sold my clones. I know I can do this now. But I also know I don't want the endless nights of worry about cops or theives. This is it for me, thanks for yall's help. I will post pics fo the other 2 plants jarred up in about a week.

Here is the final pics. 1st one is the last 2 plants. 1 plant 4 bottom jars, next one is the three on top. Second pic is all 3 plants. Weight was a little over a half pd. BTW this makes ya feel like the king of weed..lol
For yall that get the hay smell. It comes out in the cure as long as you slow down the drying, by putting in a cooler place. I noticed it on the second day of drying. Turned the air up in flower box to about 60 degrees for the next 3 or 4 days. Also my drying time was only 4 to 5 days. Smaller stems snapped and larger ones come to a bend with almost a snap.
