.. looks good , remembert the temps got to stay 80ish for a good groth..... disscunt stores sell fans for under ten bucks small ones that blow mad air . .. and btw bro they are going to get tall eerrrrrr . like two 1/2 feet tall. ... any how the thing with sex is kinda wierd . my xpiriends depend on how well maintain ur plants are . when i over fert and fuk with them too much . i xtress them out by mistake here and there and they take about two weeks . if well maitain i would say 8 to 10 days... remember males cum out quiker so let the gurls thake their time .

thanks for the input......So I guess i'll be just cross my fingers and hope for the best.... n e ways just got back from wally-land with 2700 k bulbs.. WOW The yellow glow my room now has.....will the different light also promote flowering?
-doughBoy

for sexing, my current grow took about 12 days. the longer you see nothing, probably the better, less likely to be a male

N E 1 know if my 1 1/2 pots will be big enuf for these plants??...... if not what size should I re pot them in??
-DoughBoy

So I just got around to really giving the ladies a good head to toe inspection and to make today just the shit I spotted white hairs protruding at many of the nodes..:hump: "Totally Stoked" N E ways im thinking that my girls may need a bit of a bigger pot to grow in.....I wont have the money to get them bigger pots till Friday.... but now im afraid of stunting there growth.....will friday be too late?? oppions please

-DoughBoy

Unless you have a bunch of roots coming out of the wholes in your pot, Friday will work. It cracked me up to see that pot from WM since I transplanted mine from one of those (8" right?) to a 10". Also, if you have an Ace HW, their pots are way cheaper than WM. And they got great potting soil too.

great news on the female(s)! it feels so good to see the result after the wait
haven't seen much that hermie is a danger from transplant. but any stress could increase the chance
if done well, transplant will help, bit of a scary project though, especially when plant is bigger
i can't give you much more info on transplant, at least for larger plants, i've transplanted small one(4-5 inches) without any problems

I'd most definitely get a second person to help if you transplant. Take into account the size they'll get to and do it in the largest pot you'll ever need. With two people it will be a much gentler operation. I'm flowering my first plant and she's huge in a 10" pot and also in a cabinet. But if she was still in a smaller plant in flower, I'd transplant if I wanted her bigger. Good luck with this!

So its been 1 week since I first seen the white hairs forming.....Growth is still shooting up like crazy and the hairs are more and more every day...... By the pic's am I on the right track? also I've been reading a lot about people using Molasses in there water I was just wondering if n e one could tell me how much to use..... I have just been using a couple of drops with my water enuf to turn it a slight yellow color....
"Yes I know they look sad but I just watered"

they're definitely budding , some of them anyways, keep watch for nasty balls
i've been using molasses for about 2 weeks, 1 tsp per gallon of water
some seem to recommend up to 1 ounce per gallon, but you can overdo with it
also recommended that you let your water/molasses ferment for a day or 2, and keep it oxygenated
part of its benefit if from beneficial bacteria

Cool Thanks man.....
O I almost forgot...I upgraded my lighting yesterday... I now have 18 yes 18 26w 2700k's... hope this is enough to grow some killer buds
-DoughBoy

today I noticed some red/yellow spots starting to multiply on 1 of my plants its not all of the fan leafs but it is a major consern
N E ideas what this is?
Should I cut the offending fan leafs to stop the spread?
-DoughBoy

1st, don't cut those fans, probably not disease, bugs at worst and cutting won't stop them
the spots are tiny, could barely see them, not much impact yet
could be the 1st signs of deficiency/ph/salt buildup - tough to tell so early
if you haven't already, good time to ph your water going in and out, can tell you a lot
fan leaves should be nearly dead before removing, yours are a long ways from that

So over the last week I'vv been battling what im Petty sure was a case of spider mites... I'm pretty sure that I eradicated the lot of em with some soap bug killer that I sprayed onto paper towels and rubbed both sides of all the fan leafs....FUN....it seems like no new lil spots or small holes are appearing..N e ways I jas just wondering.... the buds seem small to me or is this about right for day 22 of 12/12 and day 14 since the ladies showed off their wiite hairs...
Any Input?

doughboy

good to see your new grow pics. spider mites, sux, but sounds like you did good wasting 'em
buds are doing fine, 14 days of budding, looks about right
i don't think any of us 1st grows think our buds are as big as they should be
mine weren't too different from yours at 2 weeks, after 3 weeks they start putting on some heft

I guess some times I get overly High and tend to over analyze things.....Still hoping 4 2 oz between the two plants though......Just wishful thinking or is that about right?
