She's a BEAST.great job on her ,yure definitely the man, lol,,,looks to be haf lb or more ..So is that a hempy bucket?
Those colas look bigger in the photos, i'm hoping for 4 - 5 oz from her which would be awesome for my 1st grow :)
She's in an 11l fabric pot with 50/50 coco/perlite mix, hand watered every day and currently drinking about 3 litres a day.
I actually got my nose real close and got my 1st smell of grapefruit from her today too, can't wait to see how she smokes :bigjoint:

Got her out this morning to do another flush and saw some bud that looked a funny colour and the sugar leaves were dry and dead so i pulled them out and they had a white fungus on them ... i've got bud rot
I checked the other colas and at least 4 of them have it, what do i do ??
Do i cut them them off or do i just try to cut out the rot?
Is there anyway to kill the rot at all, i will buy whatever i need to kill it, ioniser / ozone gen etc
I think its the humidity spike when lights go out, temp drops and the humidity hits around 80% but as my fans are hooked up to a temp probe they are still slowing down.
Gonna get a small dehumidifier for the cupboard but that will take a week to come .... i'm gutted and looking for help :-?

the only thing I know to do is pull the plant before it spreads worst,if indeed its infected its goin downhill and spreading.

Thanks for the quick reply mate.
Can i cut off the affected colas and let the rest finish up, i've got about 2 weeks to go or do you think it is already in the plant and it will just keep appearing?

no doubt cut out the affected area,if yu want to keep goin keep the humidy down as low as possible around the clock, dry out the fungus that has started,if it looks to be still spreading i'd cull that sucker and clean the room good for next grow make sure its gone.

#1 so far so good
#2 nutes after 2nd or 3rd nodes & have stable root system
#3&4 transplant that girl into a 10gallon smartpot asap, top her after her 2nd set of nodes, wait till she gets about 20" and turn her 12/12. Take your cuttings 2-3 piror to flowering.

That really sucks man, to get this far and loose a bunch of your harvest is gut wrenching :(

It hurts like hell, i would like to finish her properly but the more i'm reading the less likely that is going to be.
I might have to cut her down with no flush and 2 weeks early :( :(

even with that she looks awesome and plenty, but prolonging it will effect potency imo,gd luck and keep us posted on the bud.

I couldn't just sit here and wait until tomorrow so i went back to my grow area (3 miles away) and chopped out some rot, it was worse than i first thought, there was quite a lot of the biggest colas affected but only the top halves so cut them off

Here's some photos of the carnage. I also borrowed an ozone generator and set that going before i cut anything so hopefully any spores that got released during my VERY gentle cutting were hopefully zapped and i'll let that run through the night. Hope it doesn't harm my girl but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Anyone got/using one of these, i lke the idea of it being quiet (stealth) but if its not gonna do the job i'll get something else.

Dehumidifier

It is small enough to fit in my cupborad and has selectable humidity settings and also a built in ioniser if you wish to use it.

That Dehu will absolutely jack shit. Seriously.

Everyone always buys too small of a Dehu and regrets it later. Take from
someone who owns two Santa fe dual 155 max dry units.

you need a 70 or 90 pint.

Don't be cheap...unless you enjoy watching your buds melt.

if the spot is small stealth would work but to get a real good one cost yu a bit more.

I am not cheap, I would quite happily go out and buy a decent size dehu but my cupboard is 39"w x 30"d x 70"h and i can fit 1 medium plant or 2 small in it.
It already has a 600w in a batwing/cooltube hybrid reflector at the top so my usable height is prob only 50-55".
I can't put a dehu outside the cupboard as that would cause too many questions, it has to be stealth.
If you have any recommendations for smaller units please tell me.

I actually own this one and use it for drying rooms after a flood.
