1st Indoor Grow Using a Stealth Cabinet with CFL's

BlueJeans: Thanks for all the good info, Im very excited to use the GoBox i will keep everyone posted with my thoughts on it and plenty of photos throughout the grow! Also thanks for the info on the RockWool i have seen alot of pics where RockWool was used for the entire grow. Im glad to know that i can get my plants up and going inside this year and then transplant them in the RockWool to outside soil for my outdoor growing next year! Im also going to keep my indoor growing as well, its such a fun ass hobby lol.
Also yea i love that cat, I have two Siamese cats, the one in the photo wont let me out of his site. Scared he may miss the pipe lol i dont know? but i truly love them, cats are fun peaceful pets!

Looks good in the front. Will check in to see how it progresses. When I finish my box this weekend you might gather some ideas to make your box even more stealth-like.

21 Days since Planted! When should i Flower? Im honestly getting excited to start a new Grow using LED lights. I told myself i will finish this grow in all CFL's and stick to the original plans!

give at least a week, 2 if you can, to allow it to recover from the topping. How often are you watering?

Very nice! My girls are only sprouting and your almost in flower stage. I would wait until she's half the size you want her, in flowering she will grow more I believe. I already am thinking of ideas for my 2nd box/grow. It's addictive isn't it? I always look at my cab and think of new improvements to add, the only problem is I'm not very good with woodwork. I have a lot of good ideas, and I know it's possible, just not with my skill level. Hah.

I'm almost tempted to write a detailed draft of a cabinet with the dimensions and everything and just handing it to a carpenter. Maybe he/ she could add some cool woodworking on the outside too.

Yea i was going to let the top come back before i flower, i was thinking maybe on Christmas i will go into flowering! Who knows maybe i will wait til the ball drops on New Years lol i gotta have fun with it ya know? Thanks for your input! I like hearing tips and tricks from ppl who know how to give advice nicely!
I was watering every 3rd day, i have noticed though the soil getting dryer 2in below soil alot faster so i watered again yesterday so i guess i will water once in the AM every day! How does that sound?

Sounds good. How much are you watering? How do you water and where?

I remember someone saying never to water the leaves during day phase because it could hurt the plant? I'm misting my plant every 4-8 hours.

I water in the mornings under the plant, i make sure that water does not get on the leaves! I also water it until i see it drip out of the bottom holes! That sound good?

dam amn im going on 17 days now and no wway will mine look that good @ 21 great job. what are you using for soil?

I recommend you try it yourself. If you go to a big box hardware store, they will usually cut your pieces of wood or whatever for you and you can learn to do the rest. I promise, the sense of accomplishment when you build it yourself is phenomenal. I'm just learning too.

Stick your finger into the soil about midway between the stem and the edge up to the middle knuckle. If it is still dry to that depth, then water just until you start to see some coming out the bottom.

Its a damn nig rig home remedy lol i used about 10% peat moss 20% compost 20% top soil and about 50% miracle grow garden soil! Its what i have been using with my outdoor plants for years but it being inside under so much light all the time it dries out alot quicker!

hey what size pot are you using, and do you feel like your leaves are a bit droopy? im just wondering, it seems like you water quite frequently

Its prob a gallon and a half size pot, I feel like my leaves are and always have been droopy. I water about once or twice every 3 days, I always check about 2 in down in soil for dryness, it dries up pretty quick. More water?

Imho i would saytry to cut back just a bit, do you have CFLs for side lighting too?

Those leaves do look a tad low, I am a new grower too so can't say why, my lights are the gay'st you could think of skinny eight inch tubes on top only, took four months to near harvest stage! Next time I will up-grade my lights lol
