correct! and i'm using both a water pump with tubes into each pot which constantly pump res water into the rockwool and it drains back down into the res.. also an air pump outside the res with a hole drilled in the top of the res with a grommet to allow me to pass the tube through and attach an airstone.. i plan on covering the res with something very soon because light seems to be leaking in and causing algae to start and im not gonna let that happen! :P

Anywho i will be posting more pics soon and we've also got 2 feminised WW germing in the blank rockwools there!

i read somewhere that adding hydrogen peroxide to the res, like 20% or 50%, will kill the algea, and it will give your plants more oxigen, light leaking into the res can damage roots

yeah i actually planned on starting a little peroxide in there soon but i dont think you should quite put that much.. i think for a larger res you only use about a half cup at most.. just a little bit does it.. theres also different dilutions of it from like 30% (for cooking) down to like 3%.. so you gotta be careful and pay attention to which % youre using and dilute it accordingly.. also when using peroxide you should also look into using molasses also, which feeds small beneficial bacteria and microbes that actually hlep the plant and are killed off by the peroxide! :)
 
yea i didn't know what %ages peroxide coms in. wasn't saying making peroxide 50% of your res. just looked for some insturctions on how much peroxide to mix, i read to add a quarter cup-1 third cup to every 2 gallons, also not to treat the resovoir but to treat the water that you add but i'm not sure what percentage peroxide they used.
 
Today i covered the res in mylar.. Had a little mishap but it should be smooth sailing from here!
DEATH TO ALGAE! ;) New pics soon! I also pruned 3 of the 4 bigger plants and one of the WW is a seedling now! Looking forward to these!
 
18 DAYS:

We had an algae problem and started them on a regiment of 29% Hydrogen Peroxide @ 3ml per every 4 liters of water.. which equals out to 21ml of H2O2.. also covered the res with aluminum tape to prevent light entering and causing more algae... which also in turn helped us by cooling the Res water a bit... also had to pull up one of the seedlings which suffered from Damping-Off.. and had a tiny bit of burn damage from not enough airflow to a couple plants and got too close to the lamp but all is well now and they will be a beauties! :P

Stay tuned to this grow because we've just ordered some Strawberry Delight (Strawberry Cough x NYC Diesel) and some LA Woman from Attitude Seedbank! we're gonna try to get some involved during this grow! keep your eyes peeled, this is our first bubbleponics grow so we're gonna see what we can pull off! :)
