Looks awesome bro. Killed me too the first couple times to cut off healthy branches but it's really for the best. Once you get a month into flower and your plants are 4 feet tall you will barely even be able to notice what you cut.

Hey thanks all,i genuinly thought that i wouldnt get them this far along.
Got home from work and checked up on them and glad to say that they all look great, plants have had a real good growth spurt overnight which i though wouldn't occur due to pruning and are currently standing between 22-24 inches from the soil.the top of the canopy is begining to develop alot of 11 fingered leafsets which looks awesome and the stems are really starting to smell...temps are still a rock steady 79 and the humidity has never strayed above 40 apart from 1 time over the whole grow....sweet as a fucking nut so far.

No doubt i will "imagine" some drama over the weekend haha, have a good 1 all :bigjoint:

Yea the pruning won't help with the stretching unfortunately. Only two ways to do that are add more light or use this stuff called Bushmaster. Both come with their own new problems to deal with. But I have a feeling you're going to be glad we persuaded you to start flower when you did  Those plants are going to be plenty tall.

Ok....so here is my weekend update.

5 weeks old from seed and its going great,My plants have stretched and are all in the range of 23-26 inches from the soil.Sorry to say ive been at it again with the pruners and have taken off the primary growth of node 5 and left the secondary as it forms part of the canopy, the node ive taken off was the single big leafset and it wasn't getting light as it had drooped.Ive had to raise my light and have had a great stroke of fortune. In lifting my light its took it closer to the carbon filter which in turn has dropped my temps down to a rock steady 75f with the light 12 inches from the top of my canopy, thats with the dr100 fully zipped up...RESULT!

Here are some pics from the last day of week 5(today)

Sorry about the quality of the pics, they have been taken on a mobile phone and had to mess about with the colour coz of the light.:bigjoint:

i started to flower them the last day of week 4,they were at 14-16inches when i flowered.they have all averaged around 10inches in 7 days.
The amount ii have chopped off is madness also but i can see how they are developing as they grow and have a grasp of whats happening....I THINK! :)

Tnx messy.
btw, what are you expecting to yeild on your WW grow?

Man I am hoping to get between 1.5 - 2 ounces per plant dry...so about 10 oz. I can only wish though.

BTW, you should try lowering your lights to about 6 - 8 inches above the canopy. You said that you have it about 12 inches from the canopy and that its at a steady 75 degrees...how and where are you measuring that temp?

i have a digital hydrometer level with my canopy mate,it hangs on the side wall...the trouble is with dropping it lower is that the light wont spread fully over a 100x100 canopy evenlydue to my diamond reflector...the way its setup now totally bathes the canopy in light

Krimez, sup man. Plants look great dude. I don't know about you guys but the closest I can get my 400 watt is 10 inches without damage to my plants. Even with strong fans on the canopy the leaves will begin to curl at the sides from heat stress. However, I can get my 600 watt about 7 inches away. Why? It's all about the reflector. My 600 watt is aircooled and there is a layer of thick glass between the bulb and the plants. So I think your reflector and overall setup will really determine how close you can get the light. I don't even keep my lights as close as I could because, like Krimez, I need to cover a wide canopy.

Just read the thread... Nice growing man. Its been awhile since Ive grown and my new grow is going well... alot comes back kinda like riding a bike. Grew some sugar shack a few years ago but this brainstorm is growing so much faster... But hey your grow is really looking good, Im going to have to go back and review your trimming I think in a few weeks when mine needs it...

Yes homie, thing are greeeeeeeeeat as tony the tiger would say.
Mared those pics were a couple of days ago, theyre eating up altitude like the shuttle man..Its great watching them go at it and theres new growth spurting from everywhere!....Mwah i could kiss them...Grow for daddeh.
Other than that nothing else to report dude, which is good news aint it.
Ah,wanted to ask you a question though....the new growth sprouting from the lower secondary nodes,im right in thinking i can lop them off as they are well under the canopy?...i dont want this low new growth eating up all the goodies and getting big, they really dont get much light.
