2 hundred dollar budget for heat issue plz help

how can i keep my 2 400 watt mh/hps lights cool with out having to use an airconditioner.I was think about 2 air cooled hood's but im not sure if the will cool it enough my room is like 88-90 degree's and an ac is out of the qustion being that it is winter. Now i was thinking about the air cooled hoods with an inline fan and venting it out side the grow tent. so any ideas would be great i have like 2 bills for my budget and my target goal is to get down into the 70's.

Well, if ya get air cooled hoods then ya have to run them like ya thought above. If ya can run an intake from a cooler room (or window), and bring it in low (along w/yer exhaust goin out the top), it will greatly reduce yer temps

Cool tubes would be cheaper then cool hoods.

You aren't going to be able to get two pre made air cooled hoods and an inline fan for 200 bucks unless you get some crazy deal off of craigslist

You could probably make two cool tubes and get a nice inline fan from that site for under 200 if you look around for the best prices on the cool tube parts

ya i have a nice inline fan already so im all set there and i found some cool tubes from htg for around 88 bucks shiped so u think that will get me to my goal.

oh and the way i would set it up is as follow's (I would pull air from out side my tent run it through the cool tubes and back out the other side of my tent) Or should i pull air from inside the tent through the cool tubes and out the tent. What do u think would be best

If you pull through the tent than you will need a carbon filter on the end of it to keep the odor from getting blown all throughout your house
If you have the cool tubes on there own exhaust from outside the tent and back outside the tent than you will need some sort of intake fan to bring in fresh air
How many CFM is your inline fan rated for?

Air from out side. Is smell an issue?

They are six inch wide tubes of glass, there is no place to add glass.
