so as you can see im having an issue with a few (literally 3) of the leaves o my top sets has started to go "limp" or like deflated if you will. i flipped my babies two weeks ago and they sarted flowering hard 4 days ago. for some backround info, i grow under a 600hps using the SCROG method. i keep my water quality, ph, and watering times pretty much perfect or at least i thought. i use humbolt A&B (5-5-9) in conjunction with great white (root benefitting bacteria) and Ginormous (0-18-16) my temperatures are about 68 at night and 79 durin the day. i grow in a organic soil with perlite and everythings pretty clean.the only thing thats slightly off is my RH which is anywhaere between 28-40% and no higher during the day.

so basically im lookin for one of you wise weedheads out there to tell me if you can identify what is causing this problem, what happens if i is prolonged, and of course, how i can promptly correct the situation.

greatly appreciate any reples in advance

Hey dude
u should flush ASAP . U put some different nut i think and your K is high in this age.
Use only nut with lower K so

I agree, you are probably giving them too much K this early in the flower. I would water with clean water as normal until those leaves pick up, not do a true flush. Happy growing!

i feel you on the high K levels, i figured i was just over doing one element, but are you sure with the flush? i see you all over this forum and your always preachin the flush lol. not that disagree with you, im just a person that usually will try to avoid a flush in every possible way until i know for sure its the only thing that can be done. i value the opinion and +rep for the advice, but if you want me to become a true believer and preach the fllush ways as well, i may need an explanation as to what exactly a heavy flush will do for em as opposed to just clean watering. wouldnt it be less stressfull to just water with pure water for the next 4 0r 5 times but not drowned them?

thanks for the advice though neved, ill let you know if i end up flushing :-? lol

yta i may be leaning more towards this approach. not that i dont think flushing will be highly effective, i just dont want to put my plants through any more stress than they need to. thanks for the reply smoochieboochies. feel free to keep the advice/thoughts rolling in guys, really appreciate it

ok if you had the same problem and the flush helped than its got my attention. i actually do not unfortunatley. i bought one last week, then literally got home and broke it and just havent had the money to replace it. what outside elements influence the EC? does ph, ppm, and temp affect the EC in a posotive or negative way?

i ask bcuz my friend has a ppm meter so i could use that to check until i get a new one, im just not sure what the difference is exactly between ppm and ec.

First off every flower enhancer i ever used goes in week 2-4(your supposed to be high on K at this stage)

Go review different nutrient feed scedules(these guys are verry inexperienced to tell you to flush them plants)ther idiots actually)
Those plants look decent to me(and you should be starting full strength bloom now with LOTS of PK(around 1100 ppm for those size plants)
THESE GUYS GAVE YOU HORRIBLE FUCING ADVICE !!! IMHO
You should have had equal parts of all 3 NPK last 2 weeks now your N should be reduced.
IF ANYTHING THOSE PLANTS WERE GETING TO MUCH NITROGEN!!!

stupid fuckin people shouldnt give stupid advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

ok im not going to completely discredit neved as iv seen him around the forum alot and seems to know a good amount, however you seem pretty damn confident lol. i was pretty sketched about flushing my plants, i avoid a flush at all costys (the last few didnt go so well) and like alternative fixes.

so what would you have me do in your opinion? given my nutrient strengths, how much of each (if any of the A&B) should i be giving these ladies? ahould i be giving 1100 ppm of only my flower booster? or of all of them combined?

thanks for the insight, still bobbling on what to do

The fact that he is an LED grower speaks for it self(whatever nutrient line your using go find afeed scedule for that perticular line) I dnt know what brand A or B your using(I know that it must have info from company on line some where) nitro claw no big deal in begin flower(just try to reduce it alot now) I would use GH 3 part nutes
IF I WERE YOU!!!(its EZer to customize to the plants needs..(I wouldnt steer you wrong)..reduce to half strength nutes 2 weeks before a 2 week flush also)
You know how many of these jack asses are smokin fertilizer even though they flush(you cant go from 1600ppm to a flush and realy gett the nutrients out..
look at the color of most these plants leaves when they pick it(the fan leaves look blue)(they should look red n yellow)..just trust me I know what Im talkin about!!!!!!!!!

go view subs video on his vortex page at attitude he addresses what I just said look at his vortex plant with 2 weeks left.
2 weeks later them fan leaves should have been completley yellow!!!

hah well LED isnt an issue. i myself have an apolo series LED, pulls 580w and is able to veg 15 plants to 3ft and bushy as fuck lol, just saying, im tryin to get LEDs a good rep, if its a great LED, but yes most are shit.

anyways thanks for the input! i will definatly switch to a 3 part feed as that makes more sense as far as tailoring to the plants specific needs. as for now im going to take this week to try and lower out my N levels on all plants, and drop the K level as well in half of them. ill see how they do and at the end of the week if theres no improvments, im going to end up flushing.

thanks for the advice all 3 of you, and ill post some pics of them once there all perked up

thanks again and happy smokin :leaf:

I still say ditch the LED And dnt fuck with those plants to much they look fine(if you dont believe go look at pics of breeders plants )YOU WILL SEE ALL KINDS OF CURLS AND BURNS(believe me) Your being verry anal retentive(I cant stress enough that your worry about nothing)AND IF YOU GO REDUCING ANY P OR K
IN NEXT WEEK ,,you will have smaller buds for sure(do you have trouble using a search engine)????ALL THIS INFO IS AVAIL(you shouldnt be just goin on what I or any other ASSHOLES have to say!!! Im not even fuckin with you ...JUST simmer down your plants goin to look fucked up in full flower also(Im worried you may commit suicide then!!! REMEMBER CALM DOWN!!!! everything is fine just give alittle less fuckin nitrogen.

...alright no need to get fuckin aggressive, iv done the reasearch, MANY TIMES, and the "limp leaves could be attributted to anything from ph to humidity and moisture stress, i was lookiong for pointers from someone who could look at the oics and say, "yes, iv had that exact problem before, i did this exact thing to fix it, it worked this well". im not saying i take everyones advice as gospel, but the whole point of a forum is so that all growers, experienced and new alike, can bounce ideas, theories, and solutions around off eachother.

100,000 MINDS WORKING TOGETHER IS BETER THAN 100,000,000,000 THAT ONLY WANT TO ARGUE ABOUT WHOS METHODS ARE BEST. if we all just chill we'll get alot further with things, not too mention danker bud around the globe:blsmoke:

once again thank you for the advice though, it is all been takin into deep consideration
