Finally got onto my laptop so I could check the pic's on the big screen. Dude, you should totally expand that system into 3 or 4 rows closer together, just pack them the fuck in there and get your weight. Just drop a few extra fans in the room for circulation and you are ready to kill it. With 6 inline lamps, it's a damn shame to not be maxing that out, because it's a killer efficient light set up you got.

You put a lot of work in that set up and your plants sure do look like they enjoy it.

Can't wait to see them flower.

thanks yall. the only reason i went from 4 to 6 lamps is because everyone keeps critiquing the density of my nugs (the only thing they can think of) - but they are right. a lot of my shit so far has been fluffy. i dont mind fluffy, but if no one else likes it, then i need to address it i guess

i should totally put another row in the middle!! i might rebuild the system after this harvest and make some changes. 2in pvc lines are a mistake, as some cute girl mentioned earlier in the thread - they are a recipe for root rot. If / when i rebuild, i will most likely put another row of buckets in the middle, where my return line is now. and i will most likely use 3/4'' washer/dryer tubing with GE neowashers instead of 2in PVC with PIECE of SHIT uniseals. fuck uniseals. neowashers are expensive (around $11 a pop) but last forever, can be tightened by hand, and are really easy to install. might also start using totes instead of 5 gal buckets - but just for totes and washers im already lookin at 500 bucks.. so we will see about that.

Even with just a single 600w, I never had an issue with density. It could be strain, temp, water conditions, or distance from your lamp. But it absolutely is not because of the number of 600w lamps you are using, and it is not because 1000w can make denser nugs than 600's, because when used correctly, it should be absolutely indecipherable between nugs grown under even a 400w and a 1000w.

Go on craigslist, and trade 2 ounces of bud for 2 light rails with the double light adapter, and run 4 on a light rail, you'll fucking knock it out of the fucking park, way to legit to quit. 2400w doing the same job as 3600w with 1/3 less heat.

I tell you man, just make sure all your nugs are above the 28" marker from your lens and I promise you rock hard nugs as long as all the conditions and strains agree with that idea. Also, I have like, half a dozen original OG varieties on hand right now, come get some of these mother fuckers and I guarantee you rock solid nugs, but with little bitch yields... lol. My Blue Dream and Pink Lemonade, however, rock the fucking Richter scale on yield, flavor, potency, density, and bag appeal. Not to mention they may be the 2 best hash producers in the history of manufacturing hash.

i always liked Blue Dream, the one time I can remember having it they were really big and fluffy nugs though. As aforementioned, I don't mind fluffiness, but some people just cant stand it for some reason.
Some of the best bud i ever had was really fluffy Blueberry.. i mean it was legit BB too, but the buds were like cotton candy. They would stick to your hand or finger like glue, kind of a pain in the ass for rollin joints, but tasted so damn good. Smoked some Bannana Kush one time - only thing that came close. One day Im going to mix the two together and have a smoothie blunt.

For now im stuck with these crappy Extrema Fems on the left side.. only 2 of them really look good. The other 2 are Herijuana dominant shit-roosters. pussies. Id chop them out of embarrassment if i wasnt the spiritual mofo i am.
The Selene's all look good, got my eye on the short bushy one - just like ol George Bush last round. I like em short n bushy. The other two Selenes both look great too, but i've only got room for 12 clones I think.. maybe 16. And the one Chemistry I have looks excellent - and I've been told that Chemistry is a keeper for potency and yield, so I am very tempted to run one row Chemistry and one row of the Short n Bushy Selene.

Temps is probably the biggest cause for fluffy buds, that and root issues. My Blue Dream cut comes out solid as fuck though, one hell of a yielder! White Rhino kind of faded away when the dude got popped by the cops, he and a lot of people that had the cut worked together and it's pretty tough to find now, and probably a lot of people don't want other people knowing they got it for those reasons. He was actually a local cat around here, I had once meet a grow partner of his, and he gave me the whole story. I don't know if they were the original breeders, but I knew they were growing houses and houses of it.

Some recommendations on seeds of supreme dank that is very popular, even here in Cali, and definitely stand up to our exclusive strains: LA Confidential by DNA Genetics, Goji OG by Bodhi Seeds, White Fire OG by Raskal OG Genetics, Master Alien Bubba by Raskal OG Genetics, Jesus OG by TGA Subcool Genetics, Jack the Ripper by TGA Subcool Genetics, Qush by TGA Subcool Seeds, Phantom Cookies by Grand Daddy Genetics, and maybe more when I can remember them, but all of these will destroy local competition. Oh, and just good ol' fashioned Skunk #1 or Super Skunk by Sensi Seeds, a fucking stellar amazing classic, and 2 of my all time favorite smokes.

That sucks about the White Rhino.. im not even sure if I ever got a chance to sample a legitimate nug. I do remember getting high as fuck though, whenever I was presented with "white rhino". That one-hitta-quita. That all makes sense though, I mean I haven't seen or heard hide nor hair of White Rhino in years, and it was a huge deal for awhile if I remember correctly. What do you know about Alaskan Thunderfuck? Any good strains of that around there?
I love super skunk but i've had it, its still a pretty consistent shower around here. NO ONE has any blueberry or alaskan TF around here. Or white rhino. And theres very little purple either to be honest. What does come through here aint that great.

And i think youre right about temp playing a role in density.. thats really the only thing that differs about my set up and others. ive always had high res temps - still get awesome buds, but they just dont rock up like others do.

No ATF to be found around here. I've got it a few times back in the day, but I haven't really seen it being grown. I once had a friend who swore he had legit cuts of it, and I picked them up off of him. Unfortunately they were in real bad health, covered in PM, and I couldn't get them to grow. If it were today I could have revived it, but I just didn't have the know-how back then. He lost his too and we never got to see it flower out, same with the Ducks Foot he brought, which was the last the US will ever see of it.

Someone around here has the single best Blueberry I've ever seen in my life, some of the best nug I've ever seen in my life, but it only comes around once in a blue moon and I doubt anyone will ever be giving up that cut to a stranger like me.

Res temps will definitely do it to fluff up a nug.

Mang they are starting to stretch like putas up in here. EXCEPT for Selene "Short N Bushy". She just keeps getting bushier. She must have like 60 bud sites on her.. no joke. Its really starting to jungle up in here.
Clones in the buckets are from SNB Selene (back bucket) and Chemistry (front bucket).
ive been gone for a week and my auto top off reservoir has worked beautifully. Im going to take some more pictures when the lights go off.

A few tops got a little crispy from growin into the lights while I was away, i raised them about 8 inches, so I should be good for another week or so.

Watch those extremas, cuz there known to shoot out nanners and fuck your run up.

Day 21 of flower.
Ive been lazy as hell, in and out of town. But I finally flushed out the system today proper, and put the nutes up high. They were starting to look a little salty and underfed, tomorrow they ought to look better.
Last time I upped the nutes was 2 weeks ago, and the last time I flushed out the system was a month ago.
I had them at 1650ppm just a few hours ago, then went out to eat, and when I came back an hour later they had eaten 50ppm - AWESOME.

what are you using for the babies? R/O water? tap water? what PPM?

i gave in and picked up whatever they had in the shop, roots popped up in 7-10 days.

using RO that has been doctored to 330ppm with equal parts of the GH Flora series.
strangely enough, I left some cuts in a jar with just RO @ 20ppm overnight (on accident) and they looked like they had taproots the next day. But whenever I put them in the buckets they dont do so well. I might try rooting them in cups and put them in my veg totes after that. If i dont see some roots soon though im going to pop those Blue Hammers. They look good from what I can see on OpenGrow.
