I've grown the super skunk before but indoors. The fast-version Sweet Cheese I haven't tried but I've read many solid reviews.
I just met a guy on Vancouver Island (med patient) that grew it last year and he said it finished really well for him. Never heard of it before two weeks ago and now I have seeds and saw this as well. I believe it is a cross of Cheese and Jack Herer. Feminized from Crop King, and I NEVER thought I would buy from the Burger King's older brother...

And again I resuscitate this threadI know I said it before but for anyone Canadian and needing a fast flowering strain. Email Mike at PeakseedsBC and ask for his c99. Both phenos finish under 56 days and stand up to molds like a champ. Plus it is a really great sativa like smoke.

It is for good reason though and I know that @GreenHighlander has mentioned this multiple times to people that have asked and in more than one thread. I wanted to back up what he has said and thank him publicly, as you can waste entire lifetimes with this challenge.

The version of C99 offered from Mike at PeakSeedsBC, is an incredibly tough plant that I don't think can mold. I have tested the hell out of this plant both outdoors and inside and it is as mold proof as I have ever seen. I put it through extreme temperature fluctuations and seasonal ranges from close to 40C to just above freezing. Also, I'm at 50 degrees north and at 2400 ft in elevation, so they had to be grown in a greenhouse. The greenhouse was invaded by spider mites, which loved the heat and dry conditions and had no predators to keep them in check. The other plants were almost completely devastated. The mites did attack the C99, but it fared far better and finished by the end of October. The only thing I have not found yet is an individual with any kind of interesting smell or taste. They haven't been just stealthy, they are scentless. There is that slight citrus smell when disturbed, but that's it. If stealth is one of your main concerns, this has to be a candidate. The bud below is a little less dense than I think they would have been, if they hadn't become so root bound. Everything grew WAY faster than I could have even imagined, so I know for next year. They would have been over 12+ feet tall if allowed.View attachment 4459324
What I don't know is how these would do in fully exposed wind and rain outside. They have long branches that I think would need support once the buds grow.
So thanks again @GreenHighlander for steering me into this version of C99. I'm not saying that it is the best, but I am saying that it has some desirable traits for outdoor growing. The end of October finish for 50 N puts it on the edge for some of us, but it keeps chugging along when it gets cooler and grows at any opportunity when it warms a little. I will keep looking for slightly better phenos and will be making crosses.
The high is as advertised, but I have not found any raciness or paranoia at all. It is fairly strong and very up, like a sunny day at the beach. Quite resinous.
I hope that others find this as interesting as me and report back with some of their successes from the 2019 season.
