Found a couple of Minute Pirate Bugs roaming around some plants, that’s always a good sign I guess. Hopefully they reproduce and maintain a population…They seem like they’re just as good as ladybugs in terms of predatory behaviors.
Update on my 3 outside girls. Shineapple are the two 7 ftrs and Catalina wine mixer is the smaller girl in the middle. Keep thinking they are starting preflower but not quite yet. Insect wise here in coastal va lots of leaf hoppers and all the other normal predators! IPM of Lost Coast and BT so far has been pretty good. Very minimal pm a month ago and none since. (We had 8+” of rain over the weekend. Next 6 weeks and hopefully will be past the worst! Good luck everbody! Leaves on the big girls are a little droopy because it was dusk when i snapped the fotos.
