I don't see anywhere in the constitution that says you have the right to smoke pot.

You might want to try the 9th and 10th amendment. However you have things flip flopped. The Constitution for the united States was supposed to be a limitation on a newly formed government, not an enumerator of government given rights.

Besides, free and peaceful people have the right to do whatever they want, because I said so and I'm my own leader, but not yours.

As long as you are looking for a saint rather than a president, you are never going to like any of them. He still did as much for civil rights as any modern president - he "fought" for people, which was what I said in my other post.
I'm not looking for a saint. Nor am I looking for a leader that heads up the largest criminal organization there has ever been. Johnson fought to expand programs that helped his buddies / himself and was a huge government expander. Government's sole trick is the threat or use of force from the get go....why would I like somebody that heads up an organization like that? Sounds like the mafia to me.

Can you say "Gulf of Tonkin" ? Sure you can.

That is the GOP platform. The opposite is the democrat platform. Actually, the point of the constitution was to make sure that "the people who own the country control it".

"As a procedural matter you can talk about anything you want. In the 1930s, Louisiana Senator Huey Long used to quote the Bible."

Shit dude, you have NO sense of humor. It really ruins the fun when you have to post references.
What does it have to do with the thread?

How about your old claim that animals (as the one in your avatar) pray to god? When you said that, and I ridiculed you, was that a "modern day filibuster"?
