I think you all sent doublejj into some sort of breakdown
That's what I'm getting at. I might not agree with a lot of what most of you say. But it's wrong to attack that person based on their thinking. As long as the person isn't affecting my life or others who don't want his bullshit, then believe that bullshit. But when those like Abandon or Buck attack based on their belief, not on actions, is wrong. A belief is not right or wrong, it's good to have an imagination, what's wrong is when you act on those beliefs.

So when a person reads a bunch of bible verses to keep a vote from even happening, that isn't about an insecure man spewing rabid hatred in an attempt to keep society brainwashed using religious mind control? The religion of today might be different, but government is still using the same playbook.
Is this metaphorical?

I'm beginning to wonder if you have a brain and aren't part of some cult where your job is to spam this site with your indoctrination.
Please decipher this into relevantish:

i agree in some ways

A us soldier can not say hes protecting freedom or any other ideological bullshit. if he feels that way he has not done enough research.

and seeing as he /she is happy to kill other people in the name of freedom , should we care if they kill themselves on return.

the answer is yes of course we should care , they are humans and even though they gave up there humanity to join the industrial military complex. they still are good people mostly.

Soldiers give up their humanity now? Cool story bro...

"our way or the highway" the very mentality you oppose...
Yeah this is going way over my head. Is he saying that "it is like a modern day filibuster" because doublejj is spamming patriotic jingo to keep debate from occurring? I can kind of get why he would create a metaphor about some "person reads a bunch of bible verses to keep a vote from even happening" and say that Doublejj reminds of this obscure filibuster event such that we are witnessing a "modern day filibuster". I wasn't sure, so I asked if it was a metaphor and he called me stupid and now you're saying that he was just calling me a hypocrite all along. So I am carrying out a "modern day filibuster"?

Please explain it to me, I don't have vegan powers.

So, I take it by your posts you don't believe you performed one good deed, one selfless act while deployed? not even one?
If he truly believed his own bullshit, he'd believe people could still do good, and not just him. I don't want to even take the chance a person can do such a thing, it's best to always assume the worst until that person proves themselves worthy. When your bullshit relies on only one way of thinking, it's most likely a flawed thinking.

So is that what you meant when you said doublejj spamming rainbow piss was like a "modern day filibuster"?

Oh, I am filibustering his patriotic jingo bullshit by criticizing him.

I see, so he started this thread, and I spammed it with rainbow piss...

I wasn't so much replying to that one but the sentiment remains the same. Everyone will have different experiences, recollections, insights, etc... To pigeon hole soldiers & vets who don't see things the way you do, or share the world view that we were just pawns on what Brzezinski would dub "the grand chessboard", IMO marginalises the good that HAS been done.

I understand the people who declare wars, never fight them, at least in this day and age, but it's not as black and white as you make out and that's not taking into account all the political BS...

So you didn't do one thing over there that made a positive difference?
