Yea, i've learned that each strain can be picky, but, by the end of it's growth, you've gained a feel for that plant. What she wants, lwhen she wants it, and in what intervals. You also get a feel for when she gets close to chop time. Each strain shows different signs of maturity. I'v learned to take each sign with a grain of salt. I know next, i'll be doing 1-2 strains only. it's just easier to maintain 2 strains, than it is 3, or 4. Also, i have to agree with you on the ol' barneys farm. I've yet to actually grow their product. but i can tell, it will be one heluva experience, and i'm looking forward to it.

Ya I definitely have the time to wait because this is all for personal so this quad or so will last me long enough. Im wondering how much ill yield off the sativa because it still has a good 3 weeks left, it just now started getting its first brown hairs the last couples nights.
I love harvesting my plants branch by branch. Seeing as I'm currently finishing up my first seed to harvest grow indoors, all I can speak for it my outdoor experience. But I have to say, in the fall when it's down to harvest, I'm out there every day with the magnifying glass checking to see which branches are perfect. I end up taking a plant down over the course of a couple weeks usually, unless weather starts to fuck with me...Nothing I can do about fog and if I'm already chopping some branches, if I see mold I'll usually chop the whole plant if cold or wet weather is in the forecast. Otherwise, I had a sativa dominant plant outdoors till a week before Christmas, so I'm all about the plant telling me when it's ready.
Ya man I really want to grow outdoors but I'm probably either gonna have to wait or move in order to do that. I kinda like the control aspect of indoors too so probably would maintain both haha. Sativa+outdoors+till december (almost jan) = big yield. what you end up getting? Ya my humidity has been really low the entire grow so if I get mold i'll be pissed haha. The only worry I have is fungus gnats but I rarely see them bitches anymore. I think I would grow some Chocolate Thai outdoors. Also Angryblackman has that redwood kush. I would love to get me some of dat.Man, nicely done
