Watch for any leaf burn although with the 5-1-1 you might be OK. Also, did you use a surfactant in your spray? If not, it just rolled off the leaf surface with no real world uptake.

Yep, I gotta hand it to you Ben, you totally called it. I really appreciate your help.
I agree the levels are getting high now (and I've noticed very slight burn on a couple small sugar leaves) so the next watering I may back off a bit depending on how the plant looks at that point.
For the foliar feed surfactant I used a couple drops of plain dish soap. I probably won't do any more foliar feeds since the Jack's has been in there long enough to be available to the plant now.

You're welcome. Aint my first rodeo. Plants are green. Back off a bit, but don't swing completely to the other side of the coin by not applying any salts for a while.

Ivory dish soap works well as a surfactant. Even better are the non-ionic ones at Feed stores. Cheap too.

Regarding salts, so many people push their plants into a state of demise. It's the sum of the parts that counts.

There is a saturation point of ALL cultural elements for plants and that includes light.

Yep from here on out feeding is based only on what the plants show me they need (although I'm sure I still have I have plenty to learn about that). The smaller plant is down to .75tsp/gal 30-10-10 and I will probably continue to reduce and test until I find the minimum level needed to keep it nice and green. The bigger plant is more difficult to determine because all the medium to large foliage is still light green but the smaller foliage is dark green. I'll probably drop it a bit to 1.25tsp/gal and keep an eye out for signs of burn.

I would prefer a surfactant that is intended for plants so I'll check for the non-ionic stuff.
