So I lowered the lights and watered again this time with a littler less about a half hour ago. At a loss. I decided to gently dig down about 4 inches off to the side and noticed dry soil. Underwatering??
Get a wetting agent like yucca.

What was the pH issue you had that you said you solved. Because one of my first thoughts is pH along with the dry spots.

Looks like root problems to me, those are big pots for that size plant. How old is this plant? Did you always have it in those pots?
Yeah I definitely potted up to quick. They were in solo cups and I ran up too quick the plants are about 1.5 months old

I’m new to this but when I was ph’ing my water I didn’t let it sit long enough to really settle but It was around 5.2 ish unfortunately

I have a feeling your medium has a little lower pH than you want. I'd chill on the pH down for a bit and see how they respond. Unless you have a decent soil pH meter.

Hydrophobic soil, the water is just running straight thru, you get runoff, but it's not soaking in.
Water to 20% runoff and let it sit in the runoff for an hour. See how much gets soaked up.

I don't know how your watering, but what helped me out immensely was a $14 harbor freight sprayer. I can let my plants get bone dry, use the sprayer to water, and have a Better handle on getting the water spread out and saturating the medium until runoff. Have not had one issue with my medium having dry spots after I started using the sprayer to get the water spread around properly and not just dumping water on them.

I have 2 liter bottle with holes in the cap that I use to squeeze and spray but yeah I should look into something else for sure

Are you pouring all your water down the middle? Try watering around the edges of the pot. Give it a good liter at lights on (once ready for a drink)
Still get some around the stalk.. but make those roots stretch & search for moisture/food.
example of watering strategy I’m referring to.

I think either there is too big of an air pocket in your soil… or there is an area in your pot that’s not getting watered, and the roots are dry in that section. In a big pot, with a small plant.. I’m thinking it’s likely. Maybe saturate the entire pot to run off every other watering since you are feeding.

At first I was going towards the stalk, and I think so too. Last night after I found dry pockets I soaked it pretty good to run off. At work now hopefully they look better when I get home

I use happy frog soil and upped to 5 gal pot early too,.. it's fine just awareness, you got it.
Soak them slow and good, and watch the next day.
Your whole setup and situation is very similar to mine.

I water every other day, sometimes on the third day.
1 liter of water lately each plant slowly, slight Runoff.
5gal pots...week three flower.

Suggestion water those girls until the drain pans fill with water BUT don't drain them, wait a couple hours to see if water soaks up..... If so the soil was dry.
If not the soil is plenty wet, so empty pans and let soil dry out.
