I have a closet in my house that hubby set me up with 4 flouresent ballasts.
Each are 48 inches, positioned vertically. 1 on each side wall, 2 on the back wall.
So I have a total of 8 lamps. 4 Philips 32 watt daylight, (cool) and 4 Philips soft white 32 watt (red light) lamps.
He did not install an overhead ballast.
Question #1......is that a "plant breaking" mistake?
Question #2......regardless of the addition of another overhead ballast, is this enough for 3 individual plants in an earthbox? (earthbox is probably 2/3 the size of the overall closet space, and will hold a guesstimated 15+ gal of soil.)
Thanks. This is my first grow. I have perused this forum and have an old (given to me) volume of the grower's bible, but would just like a specific answer if possible.
