UPDATE

Today Selma got the cut. Scissors got so sticky and my hands still smell like lemon. Now her buds are in the process of drying. I guess it usually take 1 week or so for buds to dry. I hope everything goes smooth and I would be able to enjoy my first harvest.

Early Smoke Update

Well, I quick-dried 2 pieces of small buds to smoke so I could guess how the cured smoke would be like. It is just the way I want, nice headstone. It was not a quick hit like with some buds but when it hit me boy was I a happy chap. It will be a better smoke after it is cured :)

Dank with lemon influence to be honest :) I have decided what to grow for my next round. 2 A-1 Haze from Sagarmatha. I will top one of them as Uncle Ben suggests and leave other alone to see the difference with my own eyes.

On this grow I mainly used 6400 K MH. I added 400 W in last two weeks (400W MH, 250W HPS). For my next grow I am planning to keep this setting from start to finish.

I can't say since I started using that combo during last 2 weeks. I could speak from experience when my next grow adventure finishes though.

SLH and Royal Flush is curing. I smoked a dry piece of Royal Flush. It is not harsh smoke but it hits harder than SLH and makes me sleepy after a while. So I guess for general all day smoke SLH is better as it is. I want to point out that I harvested 2 SLH plants when they had 45/50/5%(or less) clear/cloudy/amber colored trichomes. Yield is not great as I expected but definitely better than my previous attempt (which was none). I weighed dry buds and total was mere 80 grams... weak... Honey B is gonna go in canna butter and brownies since she was gonna take long arse time to finish.

I put 2 fem A-1 haze seeds from Sagarmatha for germination on tuesday and wednesday they start showing their tap roots so I placed them in jiffies yesterday and today I placed jiffies in soil. I will be using 9 lt pots throughout my entire growth, so no transplanting.

what color was the royal flush when you harvested? I picked that strain for its energy type high, i hope mine dont make me sleepy lol
