3 million lives ruined by ISIS

what if?? What if???

So people are only fleeing because they fear retribution for their sins?

Hmmm.... What if... Sounds like a stance people took when people were talking about invading Iraq.
Oops you are jumping the shark there. The stance taken on Iraq was a ginned up story about chemical and nuclear weapons. UB ginned up a story about panhead's family being collaborators in Iraq. Two pretty different what ifs and not really a good connection.

All this talk about gin has me thinking about cocktails. An ice cold martini or maybe a gin and tonic sound pretty good to me right now. I'll consider the refugee problem later.

I meant people around me were like omg wmd! What if they really have it.

Idk. I still think its fucked up.

it's a small group of 20,000 fighters. the deeds of this small group are being hung like a banner over all of islam and being used to paint 1.3 billion as barbaric murderers to an already islamaophobic american populace.

it's gonna be great propaganda to use for our next pointless middle east war.
Like 19 guys triggering "the war on terror" which has effected just about every person in the world because of US overreaction?

Like this shit is bad and you all are complaining about minimum wage in america.

Open your eyes. Shit has hit the fan in the middle east.

This is looking like another holocaust. It's so sad, and amazing how homicidal this collection of Islamic madmen are.

Really saddening to think of the effect our invasion and rapid removal troops have created.

A great vacuum of power. The common people are paying for it.

So how do we keep ourselves from entering another war but minimize damage to our allies?
What allies are you talking about? Why can't they deal with a force of 20,000?

It isn't 20000 fighters that have to be dealt with. As in Afghanistan, the support for ISIS is the people living in the area. The govt in Baghdad became an enemy to its own people, lost control of the area and can't put up an effective fighting force. Who would we ally ourselves with? . The Kurds? The govt in Baghdad? There is no power base in the area, just regional factions.

What I see Obama doing is setting up a strategy of containment by working with Turkey and Iran.

But that's speculation on my part. In any case we have no business inserting ourselves into a civil war. Somebody will emerge from this and the next president will deal with them. So that China can get the oil it needs and make our iphones for cheap..

Yep and now Bin laden, Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gaddafi is looking more like mother Theressa every day.
