3 week old plant only 4 inches tall, seeking advice

just wondering why you chose those lights? Im using 4 cfl's for my 3 girls, but im using 6500 K, not the 2200. Isnt the yellower lights for flowering?

So I'm new to growing and found this thread. My babies are about 4 inches tall and 3 weeks old with lots of leaves. I'm growing bag seeds and also using cfls. I'm using 8 for a 3X1.5X2 box. 4 blue 4 red. I have 10 plants in there right now.

yea, transplant to a bigger pot, and change out those lights, 6500k (bright white/ daylight white) for vegging, hold onto those warmer, yellow-er bulbs for flowering, but right now they are only slowing you down

try using a blue/green spectrum, 5000K-6500K.

why such wide leaves on 3wk seedling?

similar to my grow problems aswell.. stunted growth i figured it out to be the soil in the end.. try coco and perlite and a tiny bit of stop soil and dont give nutes. i think will be good... i would love to know answer to why your leaves look like that though.. because i have similar ones

too much water maybe. keep ur soil moist. maybe feed it some vita max 1-1-2... cfls are not ideal for growing weed. i would use a mh 600w and transplant!

I was using 4xt23watt t5s for nursery but now got the led just use that for everything or should i actually make my seedlings grow in the sun for a few weeks then move them into veg room??? Is it true light can be too stong for weed?? i know it can get too hot but never knew could burn with led lights... if u look in my grow journal u can c my leaves are changing in lastest pics.... very weird. nicer have theis much of stunted plant i guess just p

It could be a boron deficiency which sounds scary but is an easy fix check out groweedeasy.com and go to the diagnosis page and or problems. Good Luck

Id just keep an eye on your ph. Those leaves seem like that could be the problem.

This looks like it is overwatering but that could be the results of waiting too long to transplant into a larger container. Having them all cramped forces you to water too much; if you see any puddling on top from compaction that's bad drainage & you should add some perlite to your mix. Going with a bigger pot and fresh mix should fix it. Also be sure no leaves are touching the soil; remove any growth down at the bottom of the canopy.
