Hey friends....

I wanna get a new light and i have finally decided on one, however it comes in different colors. I'm gonna get either the 3000k or the 3500k but not sure what would be better with this type of light. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks all!

I'm not familiar with timber exactly but are they poke in connectors with solder pads? If they are then you have a very easy option of swapping diodes so you can use say 5000k for veg and 3000k for flower. So even if you chose one color now you could always upgrade just the chips if your not happy.

I like 3000k over 3500K for flower. I mix 3000k/5000k for veg phase and flower phase. works great. I use a mix of 3500k/5000k for veg/flower also. I think the 3000k/5000k is a better mix of spectrum than 3500k/5000k
i currently have 6 f series strips (3000K) hung vertically. digikey is out of the 3000's.

i am adding 10 more strips (to finally remove my hps), 6 more vertidcal and 4 horizontal.

would you recommend 3500, 4000 or 5000K to mix with my current strips? i am adding 10, to go with 6, so they will be the majority of my strips in a 4x4 tent

these will only be used in flowering.

all the strips are already purchased for Tent 1.

The good news is, I will most likely try to replace all my HPS lights, so I have 2 more to build. With that in mind, I very well may mix some more spectrums in, since my 44" strips are easily interchanged from frame to frame.
