thanks for coming by )You are the fucking man Herb, I really appreciate you keeping up with proper documentation!
I know you are modeling your build and grow after Master Level’s video, and I was wondering how you were going to do the drain part as from his video’s ML is on a concrete floor with drains. So I like the stapled on plastic to a bucket!
nice observation there, but I found his videos just at the exact time when all this ideas where born, so i was actually kinda amazed to find a grower that goes almost in the same direction as meI know you are modeling your build and grow after Master Level’s video, and I was wondering how you were going to do the drain part as from his video’s ML is on a concrete floor with drains. And I was wondering why you deleted your videos…I really liked them, so it turns out that vimeo is no fan of da herb. To bad.
Good to see the buds fattening up.
Oops! My assumption on the videos...turns out great minds run together.nice observation there, but I found his videos just at the exact time when all this ideas where born, so i was actually kinda amazed to find a grower that goes almost in the same direction as me
though my beds have wheels for maximum light usage and easy handling.
and I'm not planing to flush my plants so hard.
(and if I would want to I would just take them out at with the roots at harvest time and place them in a bucket of osmosis for a few days)
thanks for the positive.
I like your diy light bar! An excellent use of the heatsink squares with cob modules. The plants sure look happy.in the time I'm thinking of how to build the best panel for my situation i have started practice with my chinese leds to lower current, increase light spread and decrease heat.
I wired them parallel because that's the only option I had with this drivers.
~400w veg panel

all plants were growing in regular soil and received nothing but osmosis water till now.
clones and seeds. mostly LSD
View attachment 3608891View attachment 3608892
~45w passive cooled clone\seedling light

after seeing that plants can re-veg from nothing but stalk and stems I have tried to take it a bit further, this plant were in the freezer for 3 weeks almost.
let's see if we can get any signs of life from him

its actually pretty good, I'll make an update soonSo how is that first batch fattening up?
I noticed your post over on "12xCXB3590 Passively Cooled." You have the building led light bar support structure and wiring cleanly in wire channels part down. Those passive heatsinks looked very interesting to me also and would go right in place of the led squares you use now! I would likely try those myself if I was starting over. I really like his swivel feature as well. I am interested to see what you come up with for your flowering light scheme.its actually pretty good, I'll make an update soon
Check out this thread on RIU and see what you think. "12xCXB3590 Passively Cooled."what exactly r these panels?
all i can say is damn man what a waste of money u could of had the same yeild for about 200 bucks of hps just saying nothing wrong with a good ledcurrently
-soil (19l pots) and feeding with Bio-bizz.
-17x175w shitty chinese panels over 4m2 area
-burning natural gas to produce co2 1200-1500 ppm
the cool hood works amazing.
though I still need to add a stronger fan to pull the heat out even better.
the temps at day 24.5-25.5c canopy level (night ouside)
temps at night 21-22c
I got one dehumidifier and ac working
the humidity is 60-75%.
I guess I need another dehumidifier for better results

Maybe I misinterpreted your post, "what exactly r these panels?" Please explain.yeah and?
herbal essence has some chinese mono panels but they look rather white not as blurple and they seem to be doing a decent jobMaybe I misinterpreted your post, "what exactly r these panels?" Please explain.
It seems white because I use what's called "custom white balance" for my canon DSLR.herbal essence has some chinese mono panels but they look rather white not as blurple and they seem to be doing a decent job
now he is taking them out of the cases and mounting them on channels
what exactly are these panels?
